The hotel rooms stated as a double were extremely small. The shower was over the bath at knee level so to shower you had to kneel in the bath. There was no soap, towels and bedding weren't replaced after one or two nights. The bar stated to be open till 11pm shut at 22:15 and the staff would not open... More

Luckily I only booked for 1 night. Grotty room, curtains hanging off the rail, very old décor. Just awful. Manager didn't speak to us at all apart from goodnight. I didn't eat breakfast but my partner did and wasn't happy with his. The pool indoors was ok but small. Will not be returning I'm afraid

We stayed here for four nights. The room we had (room 3) was in need of some attention. The curtain was not attached to the rail at one end with some fittings missing. The bed linen could have done with ironing. The window frame had black mould and flaking paintwork. The waste bin in the bathroom and also in the... More

Just got back from a one night stay at this hotel. I wrote to them really late at night way back in early march about rooms for 12 people. They were very prompt at getting back to me. I was dealing with mark at first and he explained deposits and all hotel facilities. It was made very easy for me... More

I arrived in Torquay by train, for a wedding at Torre Abbey. The location is superb, 5 minutes walk from the station & 5 minutes from the Abbey. The hotel is a Victorian Villa, with my room & en suite, being large, light & airy, having all the facilities that you need & I enjoyed a great nights sleep. A... More

I can't fault the hotel staff - they were great - hard working and always very nice. The hotel itself is situated within walking distance (about 15 minutes) of centre of town and all the pubs * nice places. Hotel has ample parking space so leaving the car there and just walking around town is perfectly fine. The breakfast (cooked... More
