We have just stayed at the Elmdene for five days and were celebrating our silver wedding aniversary, Carol and Andy could not do enough for us and made the time in Torquay really memorable. The room was luxurious and with loads of fine little touches like a torch and needle/threads, shoe cleaning kit and of course the bathrobes. The breakfasts...

This hotel was the nicest small hotel we have ever stayed in. Carol and andy made you feel so welcome from the word go, nothing was to much trouble for them. It was spotless and smelt lovely when you walked in, and decorated to a high standard. So it was no surprise that the rooms were also beautifully decorated and had...

Everything was excellent, from the first welcome to the goodbye wishes for a safe journey home, Our room was all anyone could wish for with so much thought from decor to supply of toiletries and it was spotless. The breakfast was really delicious, especially the porridge! I was unfortunate to fall over in the harbour and returned to the hotel...

My husband and I stayed here for five days mid September. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in within the UK. There is nothing that the very friendly owners could do to make the hotel or our stay any better. The room was faultless with many extras even 5 star hotels do not provide. Breakfast was freshly...

We arrived to a very warm, friendly welcome. The place is spotlessly clean and smells beautiful. We were shown to our room which was clean, spacious, well furnished and providing everything you could want, from good quality toiletries, tea & coffee, even an iron & ironing board! The breakfasts are exceptional, plenty of choice and all freshly cooked to order...

We've stayed in some 5 star gold award hotels before that aren't as good as Elmdene, they really should have 5 stars! We knew from the moment we walked into Elmdene that we'd have a wonderful stay. We stayed for a week and I must admit, we were very sad to leave. Having wonderful weather all week helped, but I...
