We`ve just enjoyed another 5 night stay at the kingsholm. We have stayed here four times now and wouldn`t stay anywhere else in torquay. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by both June and Carl, who couldn`t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The excellent high standards were maintained throughout from the...

This was a lovely place to stay, very close to the harbour which is a 5 minute walk away. An ideal location with restaurants, cafes and bars all close by. June and Carl were very welcoming and excellent hosts. They were very helpful suggesting places to visit and giving us directions to the venue. Our rooms were spotless with lovely...

We were given a Traditional Seaside Night away as a Wedding Gift in July and decided on Torquay as our destination. Out of the Hotels and BB's on offer, the Kingsholm stood out to us. On calling and enquiring, Carl was very helpful and polite, warming us even more towards this venue. Our instinct was proved to be right, we...

June and Carl were excellent hosts who really went out of their way to be friendly, helpful and polite. Also their establishment is in an ideal location for getting around the harbour area of Torquay. All the bars, shops and cafes there are all within easy walking distance. It is also just round the corner from the bowling alley and...

Our first stay at the Kingsholm but I am sure it will not be our last. We arrived to a warm welcome and were shown to our rooms. Both rooms were very clean and decorated with a comfortable modern feel. The rooms were well equipped with enough space for seats, wardrobe, bedside units and a large bed. Tea and coffee...

My sister booked a three night stay for six of us to kick off her fiftieth birthday celebrations. June and Carl were great hosts, couldn't do enough for us even arranging decorations and bubbly following my email to them. Breakfasts were excellent, hot food all freshly cooked and our top floor room was spacious and very clean, very good value.

A super spacious and spotlessly clean room with excellent facilities. The breakfast menu offers a good choice of food with everything cooked to perfection. The hotel is just a few...

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the kingsholm. We were made to feel very welcome by Carl and June. The kingsholm is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, the breakfast is superb. The only minor niggle we had was the loo in our room was rather noisy, but it definatly didn't spoil our stay and we will be returning next...
