The hotel is perfectly situated in walking distance of shops/bars/restaurants and the harbour. Free parking at the rear of the hotel. I was welcomed by Brian the owner after arriving very late at 9PM and he checked me in and showed me to my room. Free Wi-Fi through the hotel. The room was a single occupancy room which was a... Once again an excellent stay at The Hudson. The hotel looks like it has been recently decorated from last year which is really nice. The hotel is close to everything you could need/want to do in Torquay. The room is impeccable there isn't a fault to pick out. The breakfast is delicious and has a lot of options available. Would... Stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay, location is great 2 mins from the harbour and the breakfast was spot on especially the scrambled eggs and salmon. The single rooms are value for money and I would recommend.

My boyfriend and I liked this hotel. Brian the owner was friendly, parking round back which was good, few minutes from harbour/ town centre. Room was very nice and full English breakfast was lovely. Definitely would stay again.

We arrived at the Hotel Hudson on Thursday the 30th June 2016. We arrived early and managed to find our way around to the car parking area to the rear of the hotel, a very poorly maintained narrow lane, full of pot-holes, pits and divots. We walked around to the main entrance where we were greeted by Brian the owner,... More

I was sorry to learn of the guests dissatisfaction in regard to her stay but wasn't expecting a chilcot type of report as her response. With regard to the state of the SERVICE LANE, which runs at the back of the building I fail to see what that is to do with Hotel Hudson as it also serves 9 other... More

Nice B&B, very comfy bed and Babbacombe Rd is so close to the Harbour you can walk there in your shorts in 4 or 5 minutes! They serve a lovely full English breakfast and Brian Plum is the very genial Host. When I go back to Torquay they'll be one of the first B&B's I will call. What I liked... More

I spent two nights here, and was warmly welcomed and immediately upgraded from a single to a double room at no extra cost. It is within easy walking distance of the harbour. The room was at the top of the hotel, but that was no problem. Everywhere was very clean, and the room and en suite bathroom were comfortable and... More
