My wife and I stayed here for a couple of midweek nights. We were greeted on arrival by Pat our host and shown around the place which was a nice touch. The room was very clean and very nicely prepared and decorated. The room facilities were all of the highest standard and well maintained including the bathroom, fridge and drink...

We arrived for a two-night stay and extended an extra night as we felt so at home at the Crowndale. John and Pat were wonderful hosts and we honestly couldn't find fault with anything during our stay. The breakfasts were prepared individually and were spot-on with a good selection of things like fresh fruit salad and cereal, yogurts etc and...

Four nights bed and breakfast. We couldn't have wished for better accommodation and a great full english breakfast (even the black pudding was good). Pat and John were so friendly and welcoming that we now feel that we have made some new friends. We will be disappointed if we can't stay here the next time we are in Torquay.
