Second visit to this hotel, and the standard has not slipped. Excellent food and staff, waitresses and waiters always busy but always smiling. Our waitress was Renata and she was always so friendly and patient! I had room 127, which was down one flight of stairs. It overlooked the garden and the sea, it was a single room, but plenty...

We have very great friends that have been coming to this Hotel for many years and we have been unable until now to join their kind invitation. When making my booking there was a chance that my son may have been deployed with the Army and the receptionist at the time Harriet was most supportive and understanding of my position....

The hotel is excellent with clean rooms and superb six course meals served by very helpful staff. Throughout our five day stay the lift was broken with a sign that an engineer had been called. I see from previous reviews that this is not the first time, elderly and infirm guests have been left without adequate lift service. During the...

This hotel has had much money spent on it over the past year or so and it shows. Good food and some great rooms with sea views(but ask). One small thing, it was the start of Turkey And Tinsel therefore two coaches were booked in ....But we did get a visit from Santa!!

I visit Torquay every couple of months as I have frail ageing parents nearby. It's a fabulous oasis with a lot going on. A great job has been done on refurbishing the main entrance area along with the bedrooms- maintaining modern standards and a traditional feel in keeping with the style of the older building. The room I stay is...

We visited this hotel by coach 2 weekends ago a party of 2 coaches. The staff were very attentive. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the bay, twin beds were very comfortable with 2 arm chairs and table plus a chair under dressingtable. No complaints with the food provided evening entertainment bingo followed by singer or comiedian.

The staff in the hotel work so hard! Always smiling - particularly Mara who served us each morning & evening in the restaurant. The hotel is lovely - couldn't have enjoyed our trip any more than we did. Will be back next year for definite! Can't recommend the hotel highly enough.

I would recommend any one to stay at The Headland hotel. I am at the moment booked into room 162. It is a spacious room with a lovely sea view. The bed is very comfortable. The deputy manager Nordi Hani and his team of staff made us feel very welcome from the word go. Any problems that may have occurred...
