We spent a weekend in February at the Osborne. We had an enormous room (the Wellswood) which in addition to a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table had 5 armchairs and a settee. However, we got lost going from Reception to the room, the building is a bit of a maze and there was no lift to this room. It...

Hotel was beautiful looking in a brilliant spot overlooking a little beach. I thought you'd be able to walk into town but it's 20 minutes and very hilly so got a taxi (£5). Room was clean and MASSIVE. Not sure if it was a free upgrade but it was lovely with everything you could need. Reception staff were friendly and...

Stayed for 3 nights - double room was the smallest I have ever stayed in should be a single . Would be fine for 1 person or for 1 night not three. Room tastefully decorated. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast ok but bacon anaemic and toast rather overdone. They also didn't replace the dirty towels with new ones...

Everything was just perfect & locally produced save for the excellent white Marquess de Cacarez wine. And the 3 course package came in cheaper than we would have found anywhere back home in South Wales even on a routine day & today was very special!

Lovely warm welcome from very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful and clean with all the little extras as standard. Breakfast was lovely with excellent service, nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to return☺

After spending three nights at the Osborne Hotel I can easily say it is the best hotel in Torquay that I have stayed in, all the staff are very professional and make you feel really welcome, I stayed in Athlone a very nice decent size single room with an ensuite shower. The food is excellent and is presented really well....

First exchange with Dial an Exchange. The Osborne Club was lovely, the apartment was furnished to a high standard, with equally high standard fixtures and fittings, and staff to match the quality of the place. The building is Victorian grade 2 listed, but has a very Georgian look about it, the terrace of buildings which includes a hotel is set...

Very disappointing to say the least. Everywhere very tired and in need of updating, some of the staff were rude, trying to get a drink and a midday snack was impossible and went elsewhere. The food in the restaurant was fine and it is in a lovely location and that,s where it ends, this is the worst Hotel we have...

WiFi capability was awful, which for business people has to be a significant consideration. The bandwidth was extremely low and wasn't able to download my e-mails. The Breakfast buffet was limited and not up to Four Star standard. Staff were friendly and helpful But I would not book there again as it does not support my business needs
