I stayed for one night after dropping my daughter off in Cornwall. The room was lovely, comfortable and even the view to the back was OK, but I would have definitely chosen a room overlooking the bay if money was not an issue. The hotel has a nostalgic feel about it but is clean and well kept. The outdoor pool... More

Having lived in Torbay for the majority of my life I know the area very well. Now I live elsewhere in the UK and work in Torquay on occasion, I have experienced some shocker hotels which sadly are ranked as the best. On the verge of booking Premier Inn (to play safe) I decided to try The Osborne. On arrival... More

Stayed here for a weekend family "get together". Superb. Room was comfortable with a large bed and all the facilities one would expect. The staff (particularly in the restaurant and outside terrace) were great. Efficient and friendly and they all made us feel welcome. The food in the restaurant was of very high quality and because of this we all... More

Having stayed at the Osborne for our anniversary last year, we decided there was nowhere else we wanted to stay more than The Osborne and once again we were not disappointed. From the moment you pass through its impressive gates, The Osborne conveys a feeling of something very special and quite unique. Set high up overlooking Torbay, this magnificent hotel... More

We booked a Junior Suite for just one night. I think the room had recently been refurbished and whereas we welcomed the large walk-in shower, there was no soap dish or grab rail plus I couldn't reach the socket to plug in an electric toothbrush. There was more than enough room for a super-king 6ft bed but only a 5ft... More

Stayed down at the Osborne Hotel in Torquay for a week on business. The best thing about this hotel is its position and its facilities. Its view is amazing and the crescent itself is most impressive. The hotel overall is a bit dated and could do with a bit of TLC in some of the communal areas but the room... More

Room: We booked a junior suite with a sea view for 2 nights as we were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary. Check in was efficient, friendly and welcoming. Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights and I cannot fault the place at all. We had a fantastic sea view room which was enormous and beautifully decorated, it looked almost new. Decided to stay here with my husband as we were in Torbay seeing friends and didn't fancy driving home after their party. On arrival we had a lovely lunch in The Terrace great food and pleasant location to look out to sea across the bay. However that was honestly the best aspect. From the exterior the hotel presents as grand... More
