Me and my friend arrived to the hotel after a long journey. We got welcomed by a rude accountant who told us he emailed us that he had to put us into another hotel on the other side of town due to a long staying customer. I never had any email about this. He wasn't even apologetic and was very... More

" I never had an email" well that is most peculiar because this was your reply to my original email informing you that I was transferring your booking to another hotel in torquay- "Good evening, I do not wish to be moved to your sister hotel thank you. I would like to stay at Ansteys Ley Hotel. Many thanks Kind... More

We stayed in one of the self catering apartments, it was AMAZING!! Everything was clean and tidy, the proprietor was friendly and helpful. The view from our bedroom was amazing. Both bedrooms were ensuite, tv's in the bedrooms and the lounge/diner, the kitchen area was more than adequate for what we needed, I cooked both in the evening and breakfast... More

I stayed in the hotel for 6 days and it was a great experience. Owners are very friendly, the apartments have everything you need, clean and tidy, warm atmosphere, fast wifi. Just 15 minutes walk from Babbacombe stunning seaviews. The place is so nice that I did not want to leave.

When you are travelling with a baby just turned one who has had many trials in his short life, you need all the help you can get. Apart from a friendly owner who had our room prepared with a travel cot, the room itself was more like a studio apartment. Sofa, armchair, coffee table was good, but not as great... More

I had previously reviewed this hotel but my review has mysteriously disappeared? The establishment cannot be classified as a hotel..appears to be a haven for council placements and was a major disapointment. Bathroom shower groutng was black with mildew...there was no where to sit .,..we checked out after one night of four booked

We booked this hotel, on a room only basis, after a last minute decision to get away for a long weekend and were very pleased with it. The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean - and it had the best shower I've ever used in a hotel room! We would certainly stay again.

We decided to go to Torquay for a few days in August at short notice. The hotel had a nice room available for us. We were with our 14 month old son. We had a travel cot with us but they were available at the hotel. Breakfasts were available, but we didn't try them this time. The hotel is within... More

I have just returned home after visiting Torquay and staying at the hotel with my family. There were 3 adults and two children. The owner supplied a high chair and also a travel cot, both were clean and a godsend as we didn't have to bring our own. We stayed for 3 nights and it was just lovely to have... More

We visited here at very short notice due to being let down elsewhere and have to say we all walked into luxury! The apartment we are in is absolutely beautiful, very clean and has everything in it we would ever need. The owner is very helpful and has even recommended us days out and local places to eat. Could not... More
