Despite its name, this is not a hotel but a boarding house. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Beautiful sea views but through traffic directly in front of the hotel and NO PARKING facilities negate this. Key code entry system , public cafe in the basement which serves breakfast, no bar, so once the cafe shuts at 9.00pm it's a... More

We had to change our booking due to family illness and the staff were absolutely brilliant. The hotel is immaculate and the view from the roof top garden is amazing. All that was missing was a roof top bar! We commented on this when we checked out and were informed that there is no problem with getting a bottle of... More

Nice, clean, smart hotel. We had booked the Oddicombe Suite which was more or less on the ground floor and easy for access. We had one large room with a Queen Size four poster bed, two easy chairs and one lounger chair in front of a large TV on the wall. There was a second room with two single beds... More

My partner took me here for the weekend in July, hottest weekend of the year so far so perfect for our stay. The hotel over looked the sea at Babbacombe and the views were amazing. We stayed in the Oddicombe suite which was beautifully furnished including a four poster bed. Owner very helpful in opening the back of the hotel... More

Thank you for your wonderful review! I agree, the building definitely does hold its heat but like you say we do leave the windows open to try and get the air flowing - although we shouldn't complain at all this beautiful weather! Also congratulations on your engagement, we are really honoured to be a part of that special weekend for... More

My boyfriend and I arrived on Friday and after the quick check-in process were showed to our room. We stayed in The Downs Suite which is located on the first floor and this room was very clean, spacious and lightly decorated. The bed was comfy, the en-suite was spacious and as was the walk-in wardrobe which contained the mini fridge... More

I was surprised with a night in the Cliff Top Suite for my 30th birthday when I was being lead to believe we were staying in a much less glamorous hotel. What a surprise, fantastic room, with beautiful views, friendly helpful staff & a great roof terrace where we ate our fish & chips overlooking the sea. Would recommend the... More

Came across this restaurant by chance strolling along Babbacombe Downs on a sunny evening. service was really friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and different (ate marigolds for the first time!). Beautiful views over the bay couldn't of picked a better spot for an evening meal with a view.

Had a lovely late breakfast sat on their terrace in glorious sunshine. One veggie breakfast and an excellent eggs benedict, good coffee too. Will definitely come back next time we are in Babbacombe and try their roof terrace. Good service and a great setting

We booked the whole dining room on a Friday night for a large retirement party, worked closely with the hotel and had a set menu (4 different starters, mains and desserts.).
