Lovely B and B in Torquay, about 10 minute walk to seafront. Pauline was a great host and very informative, Pat cooked a yummy breakfast and there was plenty of it! Room was brilliant as there are not many places where they will accommodate larger families, so it was wonderful to find somewhere that would take the 5 of us... More

Arrived with 3 tired out children. We were welcomed by Pauline, who showed us to our room and then bought us all a drink and some homemade cakes. Beds were comfortable - and although 5 of us in 1 room, we did not feel cramped. Breakfast was of good quality and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner stayed for a four night break Monday to Friday in June, what a lovely bed and breakfast, had a warm welcome and on arrival had tea and cake, room clean and tidy, had tea and coffee making facilities and had a TV wall mounted, iron, mini ironing board and a fan, towels provided and nice hand... We arrived at the B&B and checking in was a breeze. Pauline even welcomed us with a pot of hot tea and cakes which we were very appreciative of as it was cold (about 12 deg C). The room was neat and clean. We walked down to the harbour and had dinner at a fish and chips "Rockfish Restaurant" which... More

We stayed for one night in April in the family room. The room was perfect , a double for my husband and myself connected by an internal corridor to a room with bunk beds for the children , the en suite was located off this . A bonus was a balcony accessed via lockable doors , which was a real... More

Stayed here for one night in aground floor room and had a very good stay. Staff are pleasant and welcoming even asking if we would like a cup of tea or coffee when we arrived. Though an old property it is spotless clean and our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb and the food was hot when it arrived... More

Second visit to Acorn Lodge in the last year. Exceptional value, nice little extra's and a great breakfast - we could even see the sea! We will look forward to returning later on in the year and have absolutely no hesitation to highly recommend!

Lovely to see you again, we are a bit concerned as to how far you had lean out the window to get the sea view but glad you managed to get one!! Thankyou for the review. Pauline More

Pauline gave us all a warm welcome with drinks and cakes for the whole family. The room was spacious with everything the five of us required. Delicious breakfast with a very good selection. The hotel is well positioned so that you can walk to most places. I especially liked that Pauline treated the children as individuals and made an effort... More

Stayed at the Acorn last night. It's a well priced B&B friendly clean and well run. The rooms have everything you need in them including decent wifi. The breakfast menu was good the quality of the food was likewise. Couldn't fault it would happily stay again.
