Stayed here on a 2 night break with a friend and we loved it. Found a fab deal on Secret escapes which gave us dinner on the 1st night, B&B and afternoon tea on the 2nd day. We had a twin room which was clean and roomy though a little old fashioned. I felt the bathroom could do with some... More

We stayed for 2 nights on an afternoon tea, dinner, bed and breakfast first night and breakfast on the second day. The public areas of the hotel were good and our room comfortable and spacious. The afternoon tea was excellent but I wouldn't have paid full price for it. £15 a head is a bit steep. We used the gym,... More

We stayed for two nights (2xbreakfasts, 1x dinner, 1xafternoon tea) on a gift voucher but supplemented £90 (2x £45 per night) to have a sea view. This supplement was well worth it as the views from room 424 were magnificent. The meals were all of slightly above-average quality. However the hotel needs some TLC very soon. The standard of cleanliness... More

This is a funny little hotel. The lobby is very grand. The rooms are not modern, but were clean and very spacious. Reason for the 3 stars? Car Parking - errrrm - we're in a funny little seaside town in Devon - not central London. £7.50 for overnight car parking is a bit of a con!! £15 per night if... More

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, food was really good, staff helpful, pool and jacuzzi fab. Faulty towers dining experience was a fantastic night. The rooms with balconies and sea view were well worth the extra and put a smile on our face each morning. Came home feeling relaxed and wished we could have stopped more days. Really looking... Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter. Lovely big room with balcony with sunbeds, table and chairs. Room faded but very clean. Great choice at breakfast including really nice coffee. Nice having an outdoor swimming pool (heated) with swimming towels provided. 10 minute walk to centre of town. 20 minute walk from the train station. Would come again.

Booked one night through groupon for bed and breakfast plus three course evening meal with wine. Very good value. We were given an upgrade to our room so we had a king size bed in a very spacious room with a lovely view from the balcony out to the bay in Torquay. It was lively to watch the yachts in... More

We arrive for a two night break, breakfast and dinner included on 20th July. We were told our room had been upgraded for some reason, and boy were we pleased! The room and it's views were fantastic (room 71). The weather was stunning on the days we stayed, but the view from the room's balcony was beautiful and took our... More

Myself and husband spent the night here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I have to say I was a little concerned about our weekend after reading the reviews on this site. These reviews were nonsense. We had an amazing stay. We stayed in a delux double room, with a balcony and it was extremely clean and well kept. Included... More

My Grandson got married at the Imperial a couple of weeks ago, When we checked in the reception staff were unhelpful and dismissive, We had to walk through a function room, where there was a meeting going on, we then had to go through the dining room,(struggling with our case and wedding outfits) The lift wouldn't work and then the doors...
