We stayed 4 nights over Christmas and thank god we did. We had the most fabulous and well needed Christmas break, we couldn’t fault anything at all. The service, food, room, location was all just superb. Well done to all the team at Carys you all do a great job. Happy New Year 2021 and hopefully we will be back in the summer. 😘😘😘
This is the second time we have been here, they have extended a lot since our first visit. Still a dog friendly hotel albeit no grass area to exercise dogs any more and if hotel locked up its a steep set of steps to get down to the beach especialy in the dark. That said the Hotel is great , very clean the food was very good. The Oven baked Plaice was as nice as fish dish as I have had in a long time. The staff without exception were helpful even in these COVID days they all were doing their best to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We plan to return
Excellent in every respect Accommodation ,Food , Location & Scenery. One needs to be fit and healthy to manage the external steps to car park though had the access road been fully opened it would not have been an issue. Would visit again Best described as England in its Glory
We spent a week in Bay Cottage. Some of the service was great, like the lady who arranged for us to stay there despite our daughter being under the normal age limit of twelve. However, much of the service was poor. The dinner and breakfast hamper was delivered to the wrong cottage; the promised mid-week clean of the cottage didn't happen; the booking for our spa treatments was lost; and when we took up the offer of complimentary treatments to make up for this, they were added to our bill, along with £500 worth of food and drink that we didn't have! As a result, I really can't see us going back.
This was our thrid visit to the Cary Arms but our first time in a beach suite. The suite was absolutely incredible - very spacious with a lovely lounge area with a TV and a hallway leading to the large bathroom (with both an incredible shower and a very large bathtub) and the bedroom, also with a TV. The fridge was stocked with a bottle of wine, milk, coke, as well as snacks including crisps, orange clubs, kit kats etc, which was lovely. The view from both the lounge and the bedroom was incredible - we felt as if we were in the water, especially due to the weather meaning the waves from the sea were crashing up against our suite! We love the pool table in the lounge area which can be used up to 10PM. Special thanks to the chef who accepted my request for something that wasn't on the evening menu. Service at dinner was great. Would highly recommend The Cary cocktail - delicious! Breakfast was also lovely - so many options. The crossiants and hot chocolate were delicious. We loved our return visit and look forward to visiting again next month.…
