Wow..... What a fantastic stay. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was first class. The rooms are beautiful, real comfort, luxury, a nice authentic unrivalled boutique style hotel. The hosts were so informative about the surrounding areas, this really helped us plan our tour of south Devon. The Breakfast :0 Oh my god, 5 Star !... I would truly recommend The Ascot Hotel, real value !.

Wow indeed! What a brilliant review of Ascot House, which we feel is such a great way to describing what we offer, since it is the last (805th!) written with Terri and Bernard as the owners since, as we write, we have retired and no longer own Ascot House, after 12 years making it what it is. It is now in excellent hands and we wish the very best to the new owners, Heather and Colin Bolt, who we know will continue where we’ve left off.

We had a great stay at this wonderful boutique B&B. Terri and Bernard were charming and friendly hosts. The accommodation in the deluxe suite was very comfortable, spacious and well furnished. The breakfasts were very good with a bowl of freshly prepared fruit a nice touch. We were given a bottle of Prosecco to welcome in the New Year which was a lovely surprise. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely return if we return to Torquay sometime in the future.

Could not fault it. Spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast, very spacious. Hosts were on hand if needed but didnt see them apart from breakfast and checking in and out. A perfect stay and hopefully will return. Thankyou.

Nobody’s perfect and we, of all people, are aware that things can always be better, however hard you try... and our guest showing for their appreciation the way you have is our best incentive to strive for perfection. As I write, we have retired and no longer own Ascot House, after 12 years making it what it is. It is now in excellent hands and we wish the very best to the new owners, Heather and Colin Bolt, who we know will continue where we’ve left off.

This b&b offers a high standard of service and accommodation- as good as any top hotel - We had a bedroom and lounge, both with a television, en-suite and beautiful decor. Our hosts, Terri and Bernard could not do enough to make our stay pleasurable and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with lots of choice. Would definite recommend this a place to stop. Thank you.
