We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gainsboro. Friendly and welcoming hosts, a clean and comfortable room, train station is easily accessible and the best cooked breakfast ever, makes this a highly recommended place to stay!

Good free WiFi.Stuart and Sue run a very efficient service, which meant everything was available for our needs. Stuart very good at carrying your suit case from the car. There is nothing bad to say about this place, Stuart and Sue run a clean, tidy, comfortable and welcoming hotel. The food was lovely and plentiful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Our bed mad a sproinging noise occasionally but it did not lack comfort. Definitely the place to stay if you want friendly kind and caring hosts. We will...

Fresh clean room (10), bed comfortable (8) although the mattress springs 'boing' with sudden movement - does not mean you can feel the springs. Shower is good, roomy enough. Good supply of Tea and coffee makings in the room. Excellent WiFi in all areas. The double glazed sliding windows shut any outside noise off quite effectively, not that the area...

Lovely and clean. Nice people. Breakfast nice but too early....start at 8.30 and finish at 9. Says free wifi but there was none. Short walk to the front and in a quiet area. Decent size on-suite with toiletries added in.

The rooms are very clean, comfortable and there is a good supply of tea, coffee & biscuits in the room. Breakfast, as always, was excellent! Sue & Stewart informed us on what was going on in the area over the...

We stayed for the second time in the family suite at the Gainsboro for a seven night stay and once again the experience was first class. The family suite is ideal as the boys (aged 13 and 15) have a room of their own with a connecting door to our room. Stuart and Sue made sure every aspect of our...
