Fantastic weekend with our friends from the liberal club ! Great food from breakfast to the evening meal. My wife and I stayed in the four poster bedroom it was lovely clean and spacious. Mostly older people go to this hotel.. the rooms are very dated .. with a lick of paint.. a bit of a revamp they could be nice.. bathroom and shower cubicle really small.. but plenty of hot water.. white clean sheets on the bed.. view was quite nice too. Can't fault the staff - all very friendly and helpful. They really do try to make your stay enjoyable. However, the hotel itself, including the bedrooms, is tired and tatty in places. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful guy on Reception. Although it was like a maze up and down corridors and stairs to get to our room, we did have a lovely spacious double room. Bathroom was fairly basic, but a good power shower! Breakfast was good too!
