Very rude manager, commented to us on arrival that we had only paid £99 for our KGB deal and should not complain...... we was not complaining.. only asking at the desk if the room had a walk in shower that we had requested via their central reservations! he said all rooms have bath and shower over, ok if your agile...

Like many reviewers, this was a cheap weekend break on a KGB deal. I find it a hard hotel to review because whilst nothing was particularly bad, nothing was particularly good either. The hotel is about a twenty minute walk to the harbour area of Torquay and there is ample parking in the car park or surrounding roads. Parts of...

My partner and I have just returned from a KGB weekend away at this hotel. I had expected coach trips and OAPs and was not disappointed in this regard. The hotel itself looks lovely from the outside even though getting i and out of the car park was a nightmare. The lobby and conservatory are also nice but the rooms...

Have just returned from a weekend break at The Abbey Lawn Hotel, Torquay. We booked this hotel through a KGB deal site, for an 8-person mum-n-daughter weekend. Staff very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Rooms pleasant and more than adequate for our needs. Prior to our visit, we had read previous unfavourable reviews regarding quantity/quality of meals, yet every member of...

I came here on a one off, using a KGB voucher that I had obtained for a two nights stay with Dinner, Bed and Breakfast for £99. We had to book through their Central Reservations rather than the hotel directly as that's how the company work, but it was no trouble at all, the staff I spoke to were all...

I would like to have reviewed the hotel itseIf and not its behaviour. I booked and paid for a 3 night break with this hotel (through KGB) for my wife and myself on July 9th 2013 and have paperwork to prove it. The booking was for April 8th 9th and 10th. I booked that far in front because we both...
