Returned to Kingston House earlier this month for our latest visit and everything was to the usual high standard with a warm welcome and tea and cake. Although we have stayed many times before this was the first time with new hosts, Allison and Michael. They were very welcoming and friendly from the start. Breakfast was delicious and Allison and Michael were bright and breezy whilst serving (literally bright in the t-shirt department!). We felt relaxed as usual and slept well in the comfortable bed, making use of the facilities including the room refreshments and White Stuff toiletries etc. We have already booked for our next visit next spring which probably says it all and look forward to visiting Kingston House again.

Our first try at a B&B in Torquay having stayed at many of the Hotels there over the years. It really was a delight, from the the warm and genuinely friendly first meeting with the owners ,Allison and Micheal, tea and cake on arrival and a relaxing chat to the wonderful exceptionally clean and comfortable Bedroom with comfy King size bed, fridge with milk and a small welcoming chocolate and tea and coffee making facilities.Breakfast was cooked to order by Micheal and excellent , additionally plenty of variety of yogurts fruit, jams etc.Nice 10 minute walk into town or a Taxi for £5/6 if you preferred to leave your car in the parking spaces and indulge in a sherry or two in town! close to the Railway Station. Good luck in the future to you both.

We had a lovely few days staying at Kingston House. Our room was really spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed, and roomy ensuite with complimentary toiletries. We also had a very quiet fridge, and a good supply of tea, coffee and daily fresh milk. It was a nice touch to have bottled water, and hand made chocolates as well. The hairdryer was a very good quality, and there were plenty of hangers in the (good sized] wardrobe. We didn't meet Allison and Michael, as they were at their daughters wedding, but they took the trouble to contact us after our stay, to check everything was ok for us. I was able to reassure them that they had left their home in very good hands. We were looked after by Fee, who is a Hospitality Angel, and her husband Mike. They were excellent. We had great food, lots of laughs with them, and they made us feel really well looked after. We look forward to returning to Kingston House next time we visit Torquay.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Kingston House, although it has changed ownership since we last visited (2020) the hospitality is exceptional. We only briefly met the new owners Alli and Mike as they were attending their daughters wedding, we had a Hospitality Angel called Fi and her husband Mike looking after us. We cannot fault this little gem of a place to stay, not far from the centre of Torquay…. 10 minute walk The room was perfect as usual, lovely comfortable handmade beds, complimentary toiletries, fresh milk in the fridge, bottled water, little box of hand, ade chocolates. Breakfast was excellent kept us going until late afternoon/ evening, highly recommend the homemade yoghurt and fruit, topped with muesli if you like. Nothing is too much trouble, plenty of toast, tea/coffee, butter and preserves. Highly recommend this accommodation whether for a lovely weekend break or longer.

My first of hopefully many trips to Torquay. Allison and Michael are perfect hosts who made my stay both comfortable and relaxed. This 5 star b&b is a perfect location for walking into town, for dinner or accessing all the lovely local small harbours and walks. Definitely top of my list for a Torquay stay!
