We have recently stayed here for 2 nights. What a lovely place, homely and friendly. Our room was spotless and we had tea and coffee facilities. Ensure was again very clean with nice white fluffy towels. The owners are really friendly and took time to talk to us. Breakfast was delicious! Scrambled eggs the best I've had and a runny...

Plymouth was a bustling place the night we arrived, so we were grateful for the quiet of the Athenaeum Lodge, with Jane and David Kewell, proprietors. It's a sweet unassuming B&B with delightful finishings and a very comfy bed. We could tell there was love in everything they did for us and we would definitely stay there again.

If you want an ultra modern apartment then this place isn't for you. But, if you want value for money, spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly and convenient to all Plymouth has to offer stay here and you will be more than happy. We ended up here after our booking at another establishment got mucked up and we have no regrets....

Ideally placed for the centre of Plymouth, situated on the Hoe, but also on a quiet street. Street car parking outside and it is free between 6pm until 10am. Good size dining room with a choice...

Room was fine but needs updating as does the en-suite. Breakfast and service was excellent but again the breakfast room need updating with a decent TV showing...
