Stayed here for one night, very friendly greeting, great room, given good information for places to eat locally and within walking distance, great views, breakfast very delicious. In a nice part of the city, very reasonable in price, would come back again.

I stayed here with my 3 small children on my own and we had a very enjoyable stay. Jan, the owner, was amazing! very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She made sure that I was able to eat my breakfast! my daughter would not stay in the highchair and was demanding my constant attention!! Jan was a great... More

We had a fantastic stay at The Rust Anchor. Previous comments had mention Rising Damp, confusing as there was no sight of Rigby or Mrs Jones and there was no mould anywhere. The place was clean dry and very comfortable. Jan the land lady was friendly and very helpful. Great place for excellent sea views and walks along the coast... More

We stayed hear on New Years Eve, the room was basically clean although small. The ensuite was tired and smelt musty although adequate for one night. The hostess was very nice and looked after us well, the breakfast was what you would expect at this price bracket and reasonable, that said we were not offered orange juice or cereals all... More

I have stayed here twice, once on my own a year ago and this month with my teenaged son. Lovely friendly and welcoming hostess. Everything clean and comfy beds. We came down to visit my daughter who lives in Plymouth and she was made welcome too when arriving during breakfast time. We will be back!

I was staying overnight in Plymouth on business and needed a B&B close to Plymouth Hoe. The Rusty Anchor fitted the bill and was very near the sea front. On arrival I received a very warm welcome from Jan the landlady. My first floor room at the rear was a good size, plain, comfortable and clean. The Full English breakfast... More

We arrived at the Rusty Anchor B&B by taxi from the Plymouth Train Station around 730pm. The front door was locked but our hostess Jan promptly answered the bell and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Our rooms were upstairs, very simple, clean, neat and the entire place was quite tidy! For our supper, she directed us to a wonderful... More

We had a lovely stay. The room was clean, tidy and just the right size with a good shower and good clean bed. It was lovely for our dog who had his own breakfast from Jan who was a fantastic host. The hotel is seconds from great views of the sea front and a short walk into town. We loved... More
