I stopped here last year (2015)and was disappointed it was booked up when I wanted to return. I won't miss out again and have already booked for next year. Nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff and good facilities, free parking and a very good breakfast included which is more than the expensive hotel I stayed at this year. Well priced... More

My wife and I were invited to a friends' 25th wedding anniversary at a venue on Plymouth Hoe. I booked a room at The Grosvenor based on it's good reviews and close proximity to the event. We arrived just after 6pm to find no available space in the very small car park. I ended up parking three streets away from... More

I can say that this hotel is spotless and located in a nice location with Plymouth Hoe being at the top of the street approximately 100 yards away. This means that it's within walking distance of the City Centre and the Barbican. The staff were friendly and have no complaints what so ever about the hotel. We believed there would... More

Pre booked this hotel for B and B, around £100 per room per night. Clean room with good furnishings although the carpet was older. Small but OK bathroom. Small bar and snack area but limited choice. Excellent breakfast both cold and cooked. Very friendly efficient staff. Very close to Plymouth Hoe, would have been great in better weather. Tip, parking... More

This is a very nice clean hotel, its quite old do you have to go up and down some stairs, I was right at the top. But the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The wifi is fairly good. There is a small bar which closes at 11:30 and has a fairly good range of drinks, including Whisky, hmmm! The... More

I will keep this review brief. We stayed for 1 night last Saturday at this hotel. The service throughout our stay was very good with friendly staff. Check-in and check-out very easy. Room was spacious and clean with amenities in the room you would expect. Bar is open until 11.30pm. Breakfast the following morning was very good with cooked, fruit,... More

We had a very comfortable room in the hotel which was nice and quiet just off from the main thoroughfare. However the hotel is very conveniently located for a walk along the Hoe. Downstairs there is a very decent lounge / sitting area with some good local Cornish beer being served. The hotel is very convenient for an early ferry... More

Excellent hotel and breakfast - service upon arrival was fantastic and nothing was to much bother. The room was lovely and very clean - as was the rest of the hotel. The next morning I ordered poached eggs on toast for breakfast and was very impressed, fresh food, excellent service and lots of choice. I look forward to staying again!

A double and twin booked, twin was lovely on second floor with one double, one single bed Problem arose with double which was situated literally in 'attic area' We didn't mind the never ending stairs, it was THE HEAT, we were in a permanent sauna, duvet on bed was a heavy feather one, which didn't help matters, soon removed that...
