Good location with parking. Modern reception, bar and the swimming pool has good views over the adjacent park. Spacious clean but dated family room. Penthouse level restaurant with fab views, dinner for parents & young children below average, breakfast ok! Generally good staff service -overall we would have scored 2.5/5 if possible.

My husband, our 6 year old and I had a one night stay booked in. Being members of the Group, we have stayed at a few Holiday Inns over the years, and this was just simply amazing. We checked into a room facing the side street, with lean-to views of the sea. The location was a park away from the... More

Just about to check out after a 3 night stay. I know this hotel and city well having come from this area. The hotel was built in 1970/71 and looks tired. However, for visiting all of Plymouth's attractions the location is great. It is a 2 minute walk to the brilliant views from The Hoe,10 minutes to walk to the... More

Stayed for two nights for a Military Reunion. The view is great especially from the Penthouse restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I was not so impressed with the breakfast. There was plenty of choice but the sausages I tried at the buffet were under cooked and some pink inside and the black pudding very dry. Other than that the... More

This hotel has a lovely view looking out to a lovely park area which is just in front of the sea front which is a vey short walk away to look out across the sea. All the buildings and sea front is extremely well maintained which makes it a very pleasant experience to walk along the sea front where there... More

The location of this hoteI is only a short walk up to the Hoe and also down to the Barbican. The view from the top floor Penthouse restaurant for dinner or breakfast was very impressive with views over the Hoe. The main lobby and bar area has been refurbished and the bar staff are welcoming and the service was excellent.... More

The location of this hotel so near to the Hoe is lovely and there must be fantastic views from some of the rooms. The view from the top floor restaurant is impressive. The bar area on the ground floor looks light and airy and welcoming. However the view from our room (and we asked for a sea view and was... More

The Holiday Inn, at Plymouth was a reasonable hotel. The first problem arose, when we tried to park. We scraped the front of our BMW 5 series trying to park. The next day most of the parking spaces were reserved for people going to a ball there for a day, not even staying. We met a member of staff called... More

It's a great hotel with such a friendly staff. Extremely clean and we had a room with a view of the sea. The breakfast room is located on the roof top and it has a great view of the seafront Very close to the city centre and walking distance to major tourist destinations
