The proprietor was extremely helpful and accommodating in every way. To be honest the rooms are dated but at these prices that is being picky as it is clean, tidy and the breakfast was lovely. Location is 50 yards from the sea and 5 minutes to the Hoe. Would definitely recommend for an economic stopover but perhaps not best to... More

room was double booked! - it would appear the proprietor didn't put my telephone booking " on the system!" The subsequent booking via expedia took priority and I was left with nowhere to stay the night before my daughter's graduation. Unbelievable! If you need to be sure of somewhere to stay don't go here!

I spent a week at this guesthouse and was very happy there. The owner, Wendy, is so friendly and helpful, and she cooks an amazing breakfast, with great choices to suit everyone. The house is spacious and I had a pleasant view from my room, and the area is quiet so I slept well with no disturbances. I was so... More

We were in Room 2 (ground floor) which was clean and suitably furnished. Usual supplies were available to use including shower gel/shampoo and tea/coffee making facilities. Wendy made us very welcome and was very accommodating to our needs. Location is great. It is a fairly quiet area, tennis courts opposite and just a few minutes walk away from the Hoe... More

A warm welcome, in a quiet neighbourhood, a stone's throw from the ferry port. A more-than-you-can- eat breakfast with a vegetarian option. We had a lovely morning chat with the lady of the house during breakfast. The room was a little small, but good for the price.

booked on last minute .com as unable to get into jurys inn where we had stayed before. This is a little gem ! The landlady called Wendy was superb and extremely helpful with where to park and where to go to eat. It is a couple of minutes walk to the Hoe and the seafront with wonderful views. The room... This is a great hotel to stay at, The Hotelier is most helpful and particular, ensuring her guests have a pleasant stay. As this is a smaller family run hotel, one would not expect all the "frills & extras" that are in the rooms, as associated with large chain Hotels. The Hotel is spotless, very comfortable bed with all facilities... More

I stayed for one night, and would definitely stay again. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast was excellent. Parking on the street is free between 6pm and 10am, and metered between 10am and 6pm.
