Second time our kayak fishing tournament has been hosted here and as a competitor it has everything we needed - ample parking, plenty of space, good, clean facilities, everything really. Ideal location too. No idea why it's coming up as a hotel, maybe there's one there but I didn't use that part of it.

Sixteen of us from my walking club stayed here over Easter 2016. Although it is a watersports centre, it made a good base for walking the coast path and exploring Plymouth. Facilities are good and it was clean. Breakfasts were good and at the time we stayed, a full breakfast was being served though sometimes it is just continental breakfast.... More

Stayed here, bed and breakfast, for a weekend while doing a BCU kayaking course. Popular with boaters and divers. Had a twin bunk type room with good clean shared facilities although they do have some ensuite rooms and are developing more. Nice bar that did snack foods and some meals. Weekend English breakfast excellent. Situated next to the water on... More

Visited for a family get together for a 30th Birthday. We were in a group of 20+ ages ranging from 5-83! My husband and I love our Sunday roast and a carvery is always a nice easy bet. You cant go wrong here, there were four choices of meat, Turkey, beef, lamb and gammon. A bog standard Yorkshire pudding and... More

The hotel is ideally located for diving as in deep dive centre is also based there, the room we stayed in had a bunk bed and a single bed, they were very basic but clean. The breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice, the staff were friendly and... More

Awesome sailing day, great fun and really informative instructors. We had a lovely day as a couple and also took my family along with young children and there was something for everyone. Really recommend it!

The staff are friendly, the rooms and venue clean and great spring board for diving from. Plymouth. I have stayed here a few times for scuba diving weekends and it is hard to beat for convenience. Rooms can be a little warm in summer on second floor, but can open windows to compensate a bit. It can be a little... More

This place was a bit of a revelation for the price - good bar, decent enough rooms, great showers and an excellent full breakfast. No frills but just what we needed when doing a cycling holiday on a budget.
