The Rising Sun is a lovely place to stay, but very expensive nearly £7.00 for a glass of wine and £3.85 for a pint of cider. I found the food prices quite high, I ordered the scallops for a starter on the Saturday night and nearly fell off my chair when it was brought up three of the tiniest scallops...

Had a wonderful stay here. Food amazing with a great menu, service outstanding and a good variety of drinks. This place has everything but parking, although in January it's not a problem. Shower in our room was also great as was the room. Clean warm and cannot fault the place. I would love to come back.

I stayed with my Husband and Mum and Dad and ate in the restaurant both for lunch and evening meal and breakfast the next day. The quality of food both in terms of flavour and presentation was second...
