The approach was via a narrow lane off Countisbury Hill, Lynmouth. We were warmly welcomed by Sue and Mike, our room was bright, clean with loads of natural light from a large window overlooking the valley and a glazed door on to a small balcony with a similar view. Sue's Exmoor breakfast certainly set us up and kept us going...

The house and grounds are full of character, very impressive and the views all about are spectacular. The room we stayed in was contemporary, light, comfortable and clean. Bathroom was spotless with...

We stayed in the "Treetops" cottage. The views over the Lyn valley were stunning. The owners couldn't be more friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Sitting on the terrace and watching the wildlife on the bird feeders was just so relaxing. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, really clean and well maintained. Thank you so...

Before we had even arrived Sue and Mike emailed us with options for places for dinner, and they went out of their way to give us places to visit and to go, and made us feel very welcome from the outset. Sue helped us with routes for walking, mountain biking, and advised us about surfing, and where the best places...

We were welcomed by Sue who was very attentive and made us feel very welcome instantly (the perfect host). Our first thoughts were the views are stunning, our room 'The Sandpiper' was very cosy, but perhaps not quite as anticipated but not unpleasant, just felt bit dated, decor and furnishings seemed a bit of a mismatch, just our opinion, bathroom with...

Booked a mid-week break and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. On our arrival Sue offered us tea and cake outside at the picnic bench overlooking the stunning views from the back garden. The room was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed, again with a lovely view. The breakfast served was well over and...
