Well located, lovely Georgian town house. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms bright, clean and well furnished with ensuite. Breakfast was good with a choice of serials, yoghurts and the usual full English buffet. Really very good VFM.

My partner & I had booked a one night stay in Exeter for sightseeing & shopping. Was a bit disappointed with the accommodation ,it was advertised as 4star, which it certainly wasn't,there was no proper reception, the room was small & didn't have a wardrobe, just a tiny alcove with 5 hangers. The buffet breakfast was ok. It was ideally...

Good central location about 5 minutes from Exeter Central train station and within 15 minutes of Exeter St David's main train station. Single room with wash basin on the first floor was basically furnished and clean as was the communal bathing facilities (1 bathroom with toilet - full size bath with shower attachment; 1 toilet; 1 shower room - small...

We got off to a bad start as we didn't have identification documents with us. The young man on reception gave us an aggressive grilling wanting to know why we didn't have our passports with us. We explained we only lived 30 miles away. He told us we had to find ID so he could fill his form in &...

This place need's to be updated. Has a friendly atmosphere. It's clean, but very dated and tired looking. The worst part were the beds which seemed adequate for kids (very cheap) but not adults. All springs could be felt when laying on them. The room we stayed in was a twin but quite small. One night stay in there was...

Very pleased with our stay virtually no issues, would recommend to anyone as long as they are ok with non-en suite facility. Our twin room was on the ground floor opposite one glass door to the breakfast room and with a corridor leading to a glass front door. To get to the bathroom and toilet you come out of the...

This is a really nice B&B although the rooms really do vary in size & quality of facilities. I stayed here quite a bit some years ago & I note there seems a change of ownership & they appear to have added very little to it other than taking away perhaps the tiny touches such as a breakfast menu on...

Positives; Room good size with lovely view. Nice and warm. Very clean. Ample towels and pillows. Adequate choice on buffet breakfast. Negatives; We had the family room which meant we had a small shared toilet outside the door but had to go down 3 floors to use a bathroom.

Comfortable reasonable sized rooms with nice en-suite. Good english breakfast buffet style. Parking for vehicle at rear. 10 minute walk to the city center. There was some noise from other rooms with people moving around the house but this would not stop us staying again. Reasonably priced.

Having read some of the previous reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about the place, but I found everything excellent. Friendly and welcoming young man who seemed to be in charge of the place. Good size en suite room (room 4) with a nice view, a comfortable bed and a good size spotlessly clean bathroom. Breakfast buffet was fine, although...
