We stayed at the Crossways whilst attending a wedding recently and found the apartments to be well equipped very modern and well maintained by the owners. Sheila who owns them was very good with the correspondance and made us very welcome when we arrived. The apartments are close to Upton Barn and Walled garden which is a popular wedding venue... Friendly pub with good atmosphere. Have been to several birthday, anniversary and wedding parties in the function room, always excellent buffets provided by Sheila. Pool table, darts etc available. Large car park and easy access from B3181. No real ales but quality keg beer and lagers.

After spending a week away and deciding last minute to spend a night in Exeter to visit family, I'm so happy I chose here. We arrived late around 10ish and was welcomed by a warm and friendly face, we kept her updated as traffic was terrible and it didn't seem to be any trouble what so ever. we have three... More

Stayed for a couple of days whilst visiting relatives, it's a lot of room for the money, and Sheila is very helpful. The rooms are modern and clean, with great facilities. Convenient for the M5, the noise might be an issue for some but didn't stop me getting a good nights sleep. Will use again.

My parents and I stayed here for a stop off after a day exploring the Torbay area. Perfect and excellent value for money as we were all able to stay in the same apartment which was very clean and nicely decorated. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars was that the fold out sofa bed which I... More

Stayed here for one night on our way to Cornwall. The hostess, Sheila, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable was quite taken back for the price. Two adults and two children aged 11 and 3 were in my party and for £60 I thought it was very good value for money, will definitely go back again.

We stayed here on the 3rd August and found Crossways to be nice and quiet, pleasant and affordable. Our unit had two rooms, one with a double bed and small toilet/shower off it and the other, with a sofa bed and kitchen facilities as well as a small dining table. For the price charged, we thought it excellent value for... More
