Check-in Oct 27, 2020 Nice hotel but no thought for breakfast diners Dinner was bookable but breakfast was continental in a bag to your room with sticker to get a hot bap with the choice of two items e.g. 2 sausages etc - breakfast could be served to order at a table if dinner can be in bootable slots, no logic to this and ruined my stay as I was working away, Jurys inn need to rethink this - seems to me to be a cost saving tactic using covid as an excuse

Hi T6859WFbretts, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are sorry to hear the breakfast option didn't live up to your expectations. As a company the decision has been made to provide this breakfast option to help keep our guests and team safe. Breakfast has always been more popular then dinner and it would just not be possible at this time to provide our buffet style breakfast to all our guests safely. We are looking forward to re-introducing our normal breakfast once it is safe to do so. We do hope this will not deter you from visiting one of our hotels in the future as we would love to welcome you back. Kind regards,

Stayed here for 1 night. Paid a quick visit to the University to catch up with kids. Couldn’t fault it. Great spot for the city, near all of the shops, pubs and restaurants. Very comfortable and clean room. Front desk staff were all very courteous and clear with advice about Covid rules etc. Excellent value for money couldn’t fault this hotel in any way. Will definitely use again.

Husband was looking for a nice stay to surprise me for my birthday and our cancelled honeymoon. Tidy and clean room. Plus they give us some little treats knowing our situation. Very professional and kind stuff.

Hotel is COVID complaisant and felt safe. Clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Breakfast costs £11 each and consists of a small bottle of orange. Granola in a pot with yogurt. A chocolate croissant. Mixed fruit in a plastic pot. We did not book this but saw our friends breakfast, delivery that is put outside your door at 6:30am. This is due to COVID and I agree with this. Upon our arrival my wife checked and in and was asked by the Deputy General Manager if we had stayed before. My wife said yes as we had stayed a few years back. She was then told that we qualified for a complimentary breakfast. Handy I thought. £22 saved I thought. Unfortunately the breakfast never arrived!!! When we checked out my wife pointed this out and was told that we hadn't paid for breakfast. On being told that the Deputy General Manager offered it to us for she offered a Costa Coffee voucher which my wife declined. Had we never been offered the free breakfast, or had the breakfast arrived this review would have been 5 stars. Obviously we had to find an alternative breakfast.
