Just returned from a one night stay at the hotel, not our first visit and treated like friends returning. Room 20 was spotless and well presented. Able to check in very early which was surprising and very much appreciated. On return from lunch in the village pub we used the

We, and our 14 guests, celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with Sunday Lunch at Stoke Lodge Hotel, where we had originally held our Reception. We were treated to a fabulous meal and good service. Highly recommended.

We have just returned home after three nights at Stoke Court on a half board basis. Our room with sea view was very comfortable, tastefully and well furnished. The lounges, bar and dining room are similarly well appointed. We enjoyed use of the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and

Stayed over Easter, last minute booking. Was pleased to get a sea view room double that was also able to accommodate our 5 year old son in his own bed ( room 9). Glad we rang the hotel direct as this option was not showing online. Room - great size , carpet quite dated but

We stayed here over the Easter weekend. While there wasn’t really anything wrong with the hotel, there were a few things that let it down. The first was breakfast wasn’t until 8.30am which is quite frustrating when you have 2 hungry children up from 7am and you want to get up

Thank you for your comments. If only they had been mentioned to us at the time we could have done something about it. Being a small, family run hotel means we are very flexible and happy to do almost anything- within reason of course!! If you had told us your son was lactose intolerant we could have made sure we had an alternative in for him. The same goes for breakfast- if you had come and asked us we could have provided an earlier breakfast for you. We are always willing to do anything to make our guests stay more comfortable but unfortunately we are not mind readers! As for the gin we have over 12 different gins on offer in our bar including several local ones. We have fever tree and britvic tonic waters but unfortunately we do not have the space to keep them in the fridge but if uou had asked we would have made sure there were some kept in just for you. I'm sorry your stay was not everything you wanted but this all could have been improved had you just communicated with us. Kind Regards, Sam
