Stayed a few times at the Crows Nest. Lovely room and Bath/shower room. Fully equipped with all the little extras plus a fridge! It was our Anniversary and on arrival found lovely bottle of wine and a card. A lovely welcoming touch. The owners so friendly and helpful will not sta

Thank you so much for this fantastic review and we are so very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Sadly, the Crow's Nest closed for good on August 29th and has now just been sold, so we will not be able to welcome you there again... However, you have the distinction of giving us our last ever review - it was just lovely and did our hearts good, so thank you! We hope you find somewhere else nice to stay in Dartmouth next time you visit. Kind regards Val and Alan

We stayed for a night at the Crow's nest, in Cabin 2. The location is great, less than a minutes walk to the water-front and close to bayards cove (and the lower ferry).

The room and en-suite were a good size, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great value and t

We stayed there a couple of weeks ago to visit our son at the Royal Naval College, We enjoyed the room and the fact that it was just in the centre of the town. The room was nice and clean with all the facilities one might want. Alan & Val were pleasantly helpful and unobtrusive

Thank you so much for the great review - we are glad you enjoyed your recent stay with us and it was lovely to meet you. We are so sorry to hear about the 'smell of damp' - it's not something that has ever been mentioned before but is certainly something that we will take on board. We hope to welcome you here again one day. Best regards Val and Alan

Great when I found it.(there is another Crows Nest in Dartmouth uphill from the river) Everything you need and more in my room, cabin 1. Room only basis so I had to go out for breakfast but lots of places within easy walking distance. Very handily placed in the town centre. Only

Hi Paul, nice to hear from you after all this time and thanks very much for the review - we're glad you enjoyed your stay with us despite the couple of problems you encountered. We are so sorry you weren't able to find us when you got to town - the other Crow's Nest (which isn't a guest house) is quite out of the way and hard to find so we don't really know how that happened as our confirmation e mail gives directions on how to find us, but I hope it didn't inconvenience you too much - hopefully you could relax in Cabin 1 once you had arrived! Thank you for the nice comments you made about your room and we're glad you had everything you needed. We are also very sorry to hear that your sleep was disturbed by the guests in Cabin 2, which as we sleep on the floor above I am afraid we weren't aware of. I am thinking that your tip about 'going as high up the building as you can' meant to sleep on another floor, but we actually only have the two guest rooms on the same floor so I thought I'd better point that out to avoid any future confusion. Once again, thanks for the review - we welcome feedback and hope to see you again one day. Best regards Val and Alan

I stayed at the crows nest in the first week of September for 3 nights. On arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome and given some useful information on the local area.

The car parking permit is invaluable and is conveniently located about 100m away. The location is perfe

"Go as high up the building as you can"
"Cabin two was great"
"We stayed in Cabin 1 which is perfect for a couple. Alan kindly showed us around Cabin 2 whilst it was vacant; has a larger bathroom with a bath and room for 3 people if needed - both rooms great size and immaculately presented."
"When travelling alone or as a couple Cabin Nr. 1 is perfect. If you require a bit more space Cabin Nr. 2 offers a spacious bathroom and sleeps 3 people."
