A very comfortable b&b. The room was light and airy, the bed bliss and a lovely selection of teas etc in the room. The breakfast was delicious a nd highly recommend the porridge brûlée. A great place to stay whilst exploring Tintagel.

I can highly recommend The Avalon! The owner, Anthony, was extremely helpful and the B&B itself is a delight in every way. Anthony's local knowledge is extensive and will ensure that his guests get the best possible experience of the attractions in the area, if any help is required.

Used to stay at the Avalon when working in Cornwall when it was owned by Peter and Julie, and it was once of the best B&Bs ever. Now owned by Anthony, The Avalon is every bit as good as it was before. The rooms are modern, very clean, with excellent bathrooms, TV and WiFi. The best part is the breakfast....

The Avalon has recently been taken into new hands - and very good hands they are! Anthony met us with tea in the garden. The view is gorgeous. My room was fabulous - though he had kindly upgraded me as my friends and I were his first guests. I made a nest of my kingsized bed and had the best...

A lovely b&b run by very welcoming hosts. The rooms can be a little tight, even after we upgraded to the bigger room, especially the bathroom. But the furnishing was well kept and the place nice and clean. Breakfast was home cooked and amazing, and the location is right next to merlin's cave. Many beautiful coves within driving distance.
