The hotel is well situated for all the "tourist" sites in Tintagel. The owners Mike and Mary could not have been more accommodating and helpful in everything we required ( including us arriving late in the evening having had no lunch or dinner) Mary cooked us a first class meal for dinner. The rooms we had were some of the... More

My Family stayed here in September, just for a night! We had a very warm welcome here even though we did arrive late! Accommodation was tidy, Clean and very fitting for Cornwall (Classic country) Grounds were very nice and the view from the bedroom was great to wake up to. We didn't have time to check out the Pool? The hotel is easy for access and easy to find. That is where the benefits end. Small outdated rooms, the beds was ridiculously small and falling apart with really bad springs. The room had one power point so if you wanted to charge your sat nav, phone, you had to unplug the television/kettle to do so. The owners have two... More

We have just returned home from the most fantastic 3 night break at this lovely hotel. I cannot praise highly enough the care and efficiency that we experienced. The room, number 5, far exceeded our expectations it was beautiful with a lovely extra bedroom and superb shower room, stunning views and absolutely spotless. The food was fresh, plentiful and served... More

We felt a little trepidation as we neared Tintagel but it was a very quaint town. Bossiney House was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very friendly, the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding! Well worth the visit to Tintagel and Bossiney House.

Probably the best thing about the hotel is the superb location and just a few minutes walk to the coast path and all the stunning scenery. Also, the town centre is only about five minutes away. our room was comfortable and clean and only let sown by poor bathroom that had an old fashioned shower cubicle. We didn't eat in... More

I stayed here over bank holiday weekend with a couple of friends. I was a little concerned about the location for travelling around south Cornwall but these fears turned out to be unfounded, it was easy to have a day out driving down the coast to the home of Doc Martin, Port Isaac, calling in at Padstow to Rick Steins... We enjoyed our short stay here. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast choice, though would have been great to see hogs pudding offered. Friendly staff and owners. Quiet so we slept well. We would stay here again if in the area.

Having read some of the reviews on this hotel it makes you wonder if these people stayed at the same place. We found the owners of this hotel very personable. The décor in the rooms was good, people must remember interior decorating is a matter of choice, what one person likes another may not. We believe the owners chose well.... More
