Two words "Fawlty Towers" It isn't funny though. I have never slept in a hotel room with this amount of damp, dust and mould. A TV that only worked after my fiance and I bought new batteries for the remote. The tea cups we had to clean before using them and had to buy milk to add to the tea.... More

Booked in to Bossiney Hotel and originally given twin room, when arrived had been 'upgraded' to Garden Room 21, taken through back door into room and given key. Straight away strong smell of damp, cobwebs around the room. Due to smell I started to investigate to find mold on curtains, looked like it had been there for a long time!!... More

stayed here for one night en-route to St Ives. Very friendly welcome by the proprietor our room was quite small, but quite clean with slightly dated but functional furniture, bedding and towels of nice feel and quality. Breakfast was from a buffet, including the cooked full english items, nice to be able to select your own items, and quite good... More

The hotel is situated in a nice location with partial views of the ocean and nice large garden. The wifi is terrible if that's important to you. The bathroom was rediculously small. Literally a toilet and shower and no mirror. There was a sink and mirror in the room. The finishing were tired and not near as charming as other... More

a great stay, in a lovely room with amazing sea view. The owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly making our stay a real delight. The hotel is superbly situated to make the most of this area of Cornwall, and Mike and Mary share their love for the area with advice for visits. P.S. the food is wonderful.

We booked online for a one night stay, however received a call to say there had been a mistake and the room wasn't actually avaliable. I understand these things happen, however we were disappointed to be let down. Mike who called however had offered to cancel the double booking so we could stay however we had already found an alternative... More

We stayed for one night after we visited Tintagel Castle. Breakfast was very good (buffet with English cooked breakfast and muesli, jam, fruits), room was spacious and clean. Absolute silence at night, perfect for a good sleep. You can reach Tintagel's town centre in a few minutes by car or in a reasonable time by foot. Would stay here again!

Very comfortable, family run hotel, very pleasant owners, helpful and accommodating, was a real pleasure to stay there, they have a large family dog which the children loved, rooms were clean and comfortable. Really helped us to enjoy staying an extra day in the area!!

Lovely hotel and large garden with sea views. Five minute walk to coastal path, excellent for dogs. Twenty minutes by car to Wadebridge to do the Camel Trail by bike to Padstow. Ten minute walk from the hotel into the village where there are a number of eateries. Although dog friendly this hotel is extremely clean and well presented. Breakfast... More
