This was a last minute visit and it has been lovely. I had a one person room which was bright, clean and roomier than I had expected. There was a double bed and of which was great. The Inn was very atmospheric the bar and restaurant area was clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly. Being a solo traveller...

Stopped for a forgettable lunch experience. The place was quiet so there was no need for inattentive and uninterested staff. The baguette was average and the chips were of the frozen variety. The staff are courteous and helpful. We had to shorten our visit and when vacating our room left the laptop charger behind. A phone call and response from Sharon was fantastic, she mailed it that day and it was delivered the next day. We found the staff were pleasant at all times. Food was good well and there was a...

12 of us were staying here for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's life and to scatter her ashes in Port Isaac and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't intend to eat here on the Friday and had another 5 turn up, so we decided all to eat here and asked if they could put some tables together which...

The walks round here are superb but strenuous !! It's a nice welcome back at the pub...

OK, there are plus points, so let me be fair to the Cornishman. It is cheap if you get a last minute booking and it's in Cornwall so that nice too! Other than that this is a hovel of biblical proportions. We booked on the internet at short notice and arrived early evening. Parking was easy, loads of spaces, grabbed...

Booked just one night at a good price....£47.50 for two inc breakfast. Pub is fine and olde worldy. Locals bar/games room can get a bit noisy with local youths playing pool (but not buying a drink?). Dining in the var area is a bit tight so book a table if you intend eating....just in case. And even in winter. Nice...

After a slight housekeeping problem necessitating a swap I was given a fabulous room, very clean, warm and welcoming, comfy bed and good shower with bags of hot water whenever I needed. Tea and coffee in room and essential toiletries. If you want breakfast early there is a very good spread of croissants, juice, tea, coffee, cereals, yoghurts and toast....

We stayed here on a Friday night after finding a really good deal. We weren't left disappointed at all. Bed & continental breakfast, en-suite, TV with Sky all for a fab price. Would pay more to stay here again if no deals are on. We had evening meal here too which was lovely. Staff helpful and looked after us well....
