We spent 3 nights in this hotel whilst visiting friends who live in the village - no room at the "inn" so we stayed here. Very warm welcome. The room was spotless and the en-suite kettle was well stocked. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of cooked fayre. As we were attending birthday parties we didn't eat in... More

Stayed here for one night and had the dinner, bed and breakfast option. Very glad we opted for the dinner, it was fantastic. 5 courses plus coffee. Starters very generously sized, I had a whole mackerel fillet and my partner had scampi. Home made soup was delicious, as was the bread with it. For main we had a chicken dish... More

The B&B is lovely including our spacious room and gorgeous dining/breakfast room. Common areas including bar, sun room and one other spacious area for relaxation. Minutes walk to the Coastal Path with views that were some of the best of our trip including a longer walk to King Arthur's Castle. The owners were very gracious hosts and gave us lots... More

We booked this following good reviews on TA, somehow we booked through a booking website which, we learned later, was particularly grasping in terms of commission - moral is to book direct with the hotel. From the welcome on arrival to our departure four nights later, nothing was too much trouble. We ate in twice, excellent value for money and... More

We stayed for a week at the beginning of July and I agree with previous reviewers, a warm friendly welcome from Rosemary who pointed the way to the coastal path about 400yds away where we would have beautiful views of the Atlantic and rugged coastline. Not too much room in the bedroom but plenty of drawers and space under the bed... Well placed just across the fields from the cliff edge and the Coastal Path. Comfortable room. Bed was comfy and plenty big enough for one. If I’d been travelling as a couple would have preferred a bigger double bed – quite possibly the other rooms have that though. As a single traveller, the gathering in the bar before dinner makes... From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a welcome tray of tea by our hosts Rosemary & John. The hotel is a stunning victorian building in beautiful grounds that automatically take you to a calmed state to start your holiday. Our room was really spacious with the most amazing view of the Atlantic "hence the name" Included in... More

We came to celebrate hubby's 60th birthday and we were so happy to receive a homely warm welcome. The breakfast, which was included in the rate was great and a varied selection available. We opted for full English breakfast, and were never disappointed. We also decided to dine in every evening and loved the food and the experience. On our... More

We spent three days here whilst exploring Cornwall and used as our base. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the food was excellent. Make sure you have at least one dinner there preferable the first night and you will keep coming back for more!
