I really enjoyed our recent stay at the Tresanton In StMawes with my husband who insisted that we deserved a treat and we were certainly not disappointed. We recommend this super hotel most highly. The attention to detail and quality are exceptional.

Stopped off here for a drink whilst in St Mawes, we were tempted in by the lovely terrace overlooking the water. We ordered two Bloody Marys. The drinks were nice, but not worth the £28 price tag - not quite sure how they can, in good conscience, charge that much for vodka and tomato juice!

We came for a short stay at Tresanton and discovered a very warm and welcoming hotel in a beautiful site with magic seaviews. We had the most romantic dinner on the terrace over the bay, very good meal, a glass of Chardonnay and a spectacular sunset... We are not the typical tourist in that area as we are French (from... The setting, views, ambience and staff at this hotel are delightful but we found the decor of our room (no 24) to be a bit tired with chipped paintwork and worn soft furnishings and a distinct lack of fluffy luxurious towels. The terrace was neglected and although the sun shined brightly it was not an inviting place to sit because... More

After being a huge fan of Alex polizzi we visited st Mawes and definitely wanted to try out the hotel, we decided to try the afternoon tea. The sandwiches given were both fish fillings only (salmon and crab) this was a tad disappointing because we do eat other fillings, as we have eatern afternoon tea in many high end establishments... Perfect location for a tranquil stay, very comfortable beds, cosy Bath, cosy atmosphere, lovely view onto the Sea, extremely friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner, one of the places you relax the most! Can fully recommend to stay there! A really special place indeed...

I find it hard to think that it can get more like one would imagine a stay at the British sea side. Very, very nice and cozy little hotel, pretty rooms and a lovely sitting room with a fire when the typical fog comes in. But best when the sun is out and one can sit on the lovely terraces... More

Sitting on the terrace sharing a bottle of wine, eating a delightful lunch in the sun with a wonderful view, just perfect! We have been going to Tresanton for many many years and it still has the same magical effect, friendly efficient staff, great food and spotlessly clean. Couldn't ask for more!!

Went to tresanton for BBQ all you can eat for a meal with my partner for £50 a head. There was a varied salad selection and bbq meat selection, your standard fair of ribs, sausages and steak, but a lack of fish dishes wish was disappointing. The meat was however tasty, but slightly over cooked. We both had cocktails each... More

I came as I am quite a big fan of Alex & Olga Polizzi and I wanted to see Tresanton. The location is perfect, it is so beautiful! We intended to have a quick visit for a cup of tea but ended up staying for a meal which was gorgeous! I felt a bit out of my depth at first... More
