We called into St Mawes on our way home from Lands End having spent a few nights in Scilly. Feeling like we wanted to keep our holiday vibe going we went to St Mawes to see what we could find. Walking around the harbour on a beautiful evening and spying a free table on their balcony we wondered in and... More

It was a great way to end a day! A drink and a few plates to share with friends on the terrace with a lovely view on the sea! It is all so beautifully decorated and the service was good! We shared a plate of crab, one of hummous and a third one I can't remember and it was delicious,... More

The hotel is absolutely charming and the owners have obviously put a lot of thought and investment into the place. HOWEVER, the arrivals process is terrible (I stood at the bar waiting for anyone to pay attention to me for about 15mins with bags in hand before having to interrupt an ongoing personal conversation to get any assistance). Then you... More

Fast service in tasteful surroundings, we only visited for three drinks this morning and they were very good indeed. St Mawes itself is very pretty and is only twenty minutes on the ferry from where we are staying in Falmouth. The hotel is well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a drink and a snack here with my husband - very good service and the snack we had was also very nice. We sat inside but try to sit outside if the weather is good as there is a lovely view and you can watch the world go by - recommended! Very nice wine.

Had been for a walk around beautiful St Mawes, and wanted a refreshing drink afterwards. The smart looking hotel has doors open onto the street, with tables outside, and a bar. So we popped in for two drinks, but was made to feel very unwelcome. There were lots of young staff stood around not doing much and talking to themselves,... More

Had visited in Feb and had a lovely meal and made to feel welcome, so made the journey to visit when back in Cornwall in July with family to share the little gem.
