This is truly a perfect holiday home to stay! If it's unspoilt location and accommodation you're after and where every little detail is catered for, you'll never go wrong with Roundhouse Barn! Mark & Barbara Sadler have nailed self catering perfection just for you! 3 fabulous cottages - The Dairy, Cockle and The Carthouse. My most recent stay was in... More

We stayed in The Dairy. It is a beautiful property - tastefully furnished (up to date), comfortable and well equipped. The welcome pack was appreciated. Barbara was a super host - not in one's face but available if required. All of this enabled a relaxing break in this beautiful part of the world. The Sadlers are a mine of information... More

So glad you enjoyed your stay in The Dairy. There is no doubt that most of our guests come here for the peace, tranquility and a relaxing break. Barney likes to say hi to all our guests and we think Lucia is already taking after him, despite her only being 4 months old! Hope to see you again. More

We have had a super week in Cockle Cottage. We arrived to a warm welcome from Barbara and Barney, the dog, and felt at home straight away. We haven't met Mark during our stay but his scones were delicious! The cottage is very tastefully appointed and was sparkling clean. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality pots and pans.... We stayed in Cockle Cottage for 9 nights and despite a gruelling 9 hour drive down it was a great feeling to walk through the cottage front door again. I cannot remember how many times we stayed in this cottage, what I can remember is the quality of the cottage and the constant reminder of attention to detail that Barbara... More

From the moment we met Mark and Barbara (and Barney) and stepped into their wonderful home, I knew we had made the right choice. We stopped in the B&B room and it was immaculate. Mark and Barbara are warm hosts and you are quickly made to feel at home. The separate lounge is great and you are provided with crockery... More

Ian and Julie Thank you very much for your review and kind comments about our hospitality. We're pleased that you enjoyed our breakfasts - especially our home-made rhubarb compote. It's a real favourite with many guests. Mark's been on a cake baking course since your visit; so who knows, he may well bag a prize at next year's St Just... More

A very relaxing stay in The Dairy at Roundhouse Barns. The accommodation is of a very high standard with a large kitchen with built in appliances, a living room with comfortable seating and a large TV (with sky) DVD player with a selection of films, small Hi Fi and an ipod stereo, bathroom with large shower and roll top bath... We stayed in Cockle cottage in the last week of July. We had a wonderful week of rest and relaxation. A beautiful cottage set in a tranquil location. We did not have the weather but this made no difference to our stay. It was such a lovely romantic break.

Hi Tracey - thanks so much for the lovely review of Cockle Cottage. We are glad you had a lovely restful and relaxing holiday. Hopefully next time you might see a bit more Cornish Sunshine without that cold wind! Best Wishes More

Stayed in B and B suite for 3 nights - very comfortable and good breakfasts, with a lot of variety. The separate lounge was a nice touch! Owners very nice and friendly. Had a great few days despite chilly wind and look forward to going back in the future

Glad you enjoyed your stay, the new breakfast room /lounge for the B&B Suite is proving very popular for those who like a bit of privacy during their stay. Hope to see you both again, perhaps when the weather has warmed up! More

An excellent location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The cottages are perfect, spotlessly clean and homely with good quality furnishings. Thank you Barbara and Mark for making us feel so welcome.

I stayed for 3 days in late Feb/early March in Cockle Cottage. It was wonderful, finished to a high standard, beautifully located, well equipped, spotless and welcoming! The location is superb - near wonderful beaches, scenic views, National Trust venues and pretty towns/villages. The Roseland is an unspoilt area of Cornwall and well worth a visit. This is an amazing... More
