After always popping in The Sloop for a beer when visiting St.Ives i thought i'd book myself and my girlfriend in for 3 nights. I would like to say thanks to Claire and all the rest of the staff for making our stay Superb! It was that good we asked if we could stay another night which Claire kindly sorted... More

Lovely looking pub and really pleasant atmosphere. You will pay London prices so coming from London this really made no difference to us. Not suited for children or teenagers other then eating but having said that theres not much any bar can do. Don't drive in to St Ives so take the train ( park and ride) and the pub... More

Needed a place to eat with dogs while in st Ives so sat at a table outside, place seems very tired, food was ok but nothing special, there was an awful smell from a wheelie bin which another customer moved and an awful smell from an outlet on wall near our table would not eat here again. Not value for... More

We visited The Sloop Inn after a day out in St Ives. Great food and reasonably priced. Great views over the harbour and full of character inside as well. Would recommend using the park and ride and then getting the train from Le Lante Saltings as there isn't a lot of parking in St Ives

We just popped in here for a quick beer (or two) when visiting St. Ives for the day. It’s in a great location overlooking the harbour. There’s a seating area outside at the front - ideal for a sunny day – and a roof terrace. The inside is very pleasant too. The menu is very varied – certainly better than... More

The pub is situated in a really great spot with views of the harbour and plenty of seating out front. They have an extensive menu with some great seafood options, including whole crab. The food was great. My only complaint is that they don't do childrens portions which just seems mental. Which with having kids aged 7 and 5 meant... More

Will never stop returning! Great service, good choice of drinks, lovely surroundings! Really good place to sit and people watch, loads of benches outside. Somewhere I'll never be able to say no to! Thankyou for making our holiday lovely once again :)

Stopped in for something to eat on a very raining day in St Ives. One meal served with a burnt, as charcoal ( did no one check it?) burger which they did remedy but should not have left the kitchen, a crab sandwich for over £9 which was two bits of brown bread, not even specialist bread, no butter and... Where do I start! Firstly an amazing place to have a few pints, relax and watch the world go by. Lovely staff and good service too. Great point to be positioned too, next to the beach and close to the shops etc. We come here every year and will do for many years to come! Thank you for another year!

A pub in a perfect location, just yards from harbour beach and sea.Sitting outside , weather permitting, is much preferred to inside. The inside of the pub looks as though it hasn't changed over the last few hundred years. When entering from daylight , it seems a little dark inside, can be a little '' off putting '' to some. There... More
