Stayed 4 nights at The Rookery. Lovely comfortable room, wonderful views, and fabulous breakfasts. Ron and Barbara were most helpful....shame they couldn't improve the weather we had!! We would stay at The Rookery again and book sunshine next time.

We stayed here for the second time in under a year, as the location is absolutely top class! A little on the expensive side, but when you see the views, all is forgiven. Charismatic and friendly hosts who make you feel very welcome and have a great deal of knowledge to boot! Our room was well equipped and all the...

The Rookery rescued our family holiday from being a bit of a disaster. We had originally booked in to the Carlyon B&B, however this B&B was not up to our expectations (see my review – i.e. Do Not Stay Here). After staying one night at the Carlyon we decided to look for urgent alternative accommodation and thankfully The Rookery came...

We have just returned from spending 3 nights at The Rookery and we can't wait for a return visit. The B&B itself is lovely and in a superb location with wonderful views over the harbour. The rooms are wonderfully presented and have everything you could possibly need (including a refreshment tray with a great selection of drinks and snacks that...

We were made extremely welcome by Ron the proprietor and had excellent rooms overlooking St Ives Bay with everything you could possibly need. We were given very helpful advice to find the best cream tea in town along with a good place to eat in the evening. We were spoilt for choice on breakfasts, we chose the fresh mackerel which...

We've just spent 3 days in St. Ives at the Rookery. We stayed in Room 5, which had a fantastic view of St. Ives bay. The room was bright, nicely decorated and had a big bathroom. The breakfast was also spot on! They offer a selection of freshly-made cooked breakfasts, cooked from scratch. Ron, the owner, is a very friendly...

We stayed at The Rookery for two nights at the beginning of May and had a fantastic time. This was our last little getaway together before our baby is due, so was very happy that everything went smoothly. The Rookery is a very clean welcoming establishment. The rooms are lovely and very homely! We will be returning for my partners...

The house is in a great location between the town centre and the train station, a great breakfast, great sea views from the rooms, a really nice feel to the whole place, and it is affordable. The Rookery is a delightful guest house that justly deserves it's 4 star rating. A 19th century house which has been decorated tastefully in a modern style including numerous modern art works throughout. Ron and Barbara have obviously put a lot of thought into providing what must be one of the best B&Bs in St Ives. The Rookery is very...
