We have returned from a 4 night stay at 11 Sea View Terrace. Its a truly luxury bed and breakfast. The establishment is totally immaculate and very tastefully decorated and well cared for. Hosts Grahame and John are exceptional and very knowledgeable of the town of St Ives , they are both very friendly and attentive and very good company. The stay was very enjoyable . We stayed in suite 1 which had a wonderful view over the harbour and bay , the view is totally mesmerising . The room is very spacious along with the en suite and is the best room I have ever stayed in and didn't want to leave. Thank you Gentlemen for a wonderful stay.
My wife and I have stayed here now on two separate occasions - a total of over 14 days. On both occasions we stayed in Suite 1 which is most spacious, well equipped and offers an outstanding level of comfort. The room is quite simply superb with the very best raised views over St Ives Harbour. The property itself is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac near the town centre but far enough away to be a peaceful retreat from the 'hustle and bustle' of St Ives. Grahame and Jon serve a very fine breakfast, with charm and quiet assurance. Choice is extensive and the quality of what you receive is of the very highest level using only the best ingredients. They are the perfect hosts - knowledgable and well travelled themselves. They just know how to run a boutique Bed and Breakfast - one which is impeccable and most tastefully furnished throughout. In conclusion every aspect of this place is a delight: informative and gracious hosts, mouthwatering and varied breakfasts, breathtaking views, sumptuous rooms which are beautifully clean, car parking and wifi - what more could you want. …
This is a lovely B&B with lots of style, beautiful artworks and welcoming hosts. We had a very comfortable room with great views over St Ives harbour. Breakfast was excellent with perfectly poached eggs, firm and tasty sausages, and an unusually large selection of different bread. All the other usual breakfast choices were available and everything we ate was of high quality. We will certainly book here again when we return to St Ives.
My wife and I have just spent 3 nights at 11 sea view terrace! what a fabulous place. Grahame and Jon are wonderful hosts and more than happy to impart their knowledge of everything St Ives has to offer. Their house and our suite (suite 2 top floor) were very clean ,smart and extremely well presented. Our large (6ft ) bed very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The room had a small fridge with fresh milk added every day. Breakfast was a delight , various types of cereals , fresh fruit ,jam, marmalade ...... cooked food was available using tasty local produce. The house is located about 5 to 15 minutes walk from everything St Ives has to offer, but far enough away so you are not disturbed by the bustle of the town. We had a very relaxing stay and would not hesitate to recommend the wonderful B and B. ps Porthmeor Cafe (tapas and more) is a must place to eat.…
Stayed in Suite 1 for a break to St Ives with my wife and we could not have been happier with the accommodation and service Grahame and Jon provided. Everything was fantastic, the room was perfect and had the most amazing view over the town and harbour with plenty of space and a very comfy bed! We then took some recommendations for places to eat, which, with Grahame’s experience of the town were bang on...especially the Porthminster Kitchen where the Fish and Chips were the best I have had. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful and the dining area very comfortable..also the personal touch of a box of handmade St Ives chocs on my birthday was fab!! We couldn’t recommend 11 Sea View Terrace enough, the walk to the town is manageable (around 10 mins) and a great workout after a load of lovely food and drink 😊 Thanks guys, we will be back! …
