Visited yesterday after a walk around Carbis bay, after being stunned by the prices and lack of portion sizes at the beach side cafe, a visit to the Badger was a welcome return to good food, fair prices, all in a dog friendly pub. I had the rack of ribs off the specials board which was great, my partner had...

We saw this pub as we drove to st Ives and then a local man on the beach recommended us to go. There is plenty of parking and we were greeted by the resident Great Dane (Elvis) and his owners. The menu is great and some specials too. The food is served quickly and was delicious. I had the liver...

We stayed as a couple for one night. Lucky to get a room as we just blew in. Comfortable room. Lots of TV channels. Lovely pub atmosphere with very yummy food. Great shower/bath with the best water pressure I've seen in Britain. ❤

Really good food, great portion sizes too! Highly recommend the garlic n rosemary chips! Friendly team looked after our slightly random choices/ changes to the menu! We all chose fish dishes from the menu and none of them disappointed!

Visited the Badger Inn in October 2016. We passed the pub and went in hoping for a table and a drink. The welcome was warm and a table was found without any fuss although the place was very busy. Our son had the carvery which he enjoyed very much, my wife had the whitebait and I had one of the...

Stayed at the Badger Inn recently. The staff were warm and welcoming and the atmosphere most genial. Our room was modern and welcome after several nights in worn out b and b's. We ate dinner in the restaurant and our meals were delicious and filling. So much so we didn't need the full English breakfast in the morning. I would...

Visited for dinner on a Tuesday evening, staff very pleasant, we selected a lamb madras curry from the specials board and liver and mash from the main menu. The curry was more like a dry lamb stew and the mash potato was full of lumps. The liver was of poor quality with several pieces full of veins, my wife found...

Great service, friendly staff and a decent carvery. Three meats to choose from (shame there was no crackling left), 5 vegetables, roast potatoes, great Yorkshire puds and really tasty gravy. This isn't fine dining, but it's decent 'pub grub'. For a £9.95 carvery it's worth it.

Lost count how many times we have been here. Can't wait for our property to be completed in Carbis Bay next year so we can visit ++ as we so love walking Bertie the dog along the beach and up to the Badger and back. Had lunch here on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Short of staff on Saturday and...
