This hotel was truly wonderful. Excellent location with great views and just a short stroll along the coastal path to the beach and town. Malcolm and his lovely team are very welcoming. The hotel has beautiful decor and have all the amenities you would expect from a top class hotel. The breakfast menu is very extensive and is all served... More

Welcoming friendly host and staff. Could not do enough for us. A beautiful spot close to St Ives (walking distance). Our room was beautiful and immaculate. Breakfasts are made to order-excellent food. Had dinner in one evening and again, food was excellent. Highly recommend this fine hotel!

My husband and I recently stayed in the Treylon Suite at the Blue Hayes. Wow, what can we say - on entering the hotel the first thing that hit us was the cream deep pile carpet which was absolutely spotless - it is cleaned 3 times a week. The entire hotel was spotless and well laid out. Our suite had... More

We had four days at this lovely hotel at the beginning of August. The rooms were beautiful and the staff could not do enough to assist. The food was excellent and the bar area provided a totally relaxing atmosphere. The walk down to the town centre was very pleasant. We highly recommend this small private hotel.

We booked two nights at Blue Hayes in the Treylon Suite over weekend of 6th August, mainly based on the very complimentary comments of previous guests from their reviews. We were not to be disappointed! Speaking to Malcolm the owner I had mentioned the stay was to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary( we enjoyed our honeymoon in Cornwall) and when... More

We have had three lovely days here. A quite unique private hotel owned and run by Malcolm who purchased this 16 years ago and then spent two years rebuilding to make this a superb 5 bedroom hotel in one of the very best locations in St Ives. Marvellous attention to detail and full credit to Malcolm for this unique design... More

Our third visit to the Blue Hayes in the last 6 years. Perfect location, roomy unique rooms, great view, tasty meals at the hotel (choosing nearly anything you want for breakfast is a true treat), private indoor/outdoor bar for unwinding at the end of the day and chatting with other guests, and exceptional internet access/speed all over the property. As... More

I stayed for 2 nights in their only single room (which is in reality a small double). The hotel is immaculate and feels very calm. Breakfast choice was amazing (especially given that its a small hotel). The proprietor Malcolm and all the staff were really pleasant and made me feel very welcome. Nice that it has a licenced bar too.... More

Recently stayed for three nights at Blue Hayes. Malcolm and his team continue to provide top quality service and accommodation. We stayed in the Garden suite, which is on the ground floor with a huge bathroom with bath and separate shower unit. We have also stayed in the Godrevy suite which is on the top floor. The room itself is... More

Delightful 2 night stay in Garden Room. Room was immaculate and great hospitality by Malcolm and his team. Easy traffic-free 10 minute walk down into the town (slightly longer on way back up the hill !); great views from the terrace, and the best (generous) cooked breakfast I've had from any hotel to date. Oh, and it's in St.Ives so... More
