My husband and I spent a few days out of the rat race in this lovely hotel . After our short visit we felt refreshed and relaxed . The staff are friendly but not over bearing , there's a relaxed feeling but it's still a special place . It didn't matter that we visited in Feb the area has a... More

We stayed for a birthday treat - we were given a stunning room with sea view. Loved the hotel and location. Staff friendly. Ideal as out of main town with a good 15 minute walk great to walk breakfast off. We loved it will definitely return!

Just spent three nights at this lovely hotel with our dog. The accommodation was very good - super king size bed, very comfortable. Room temperature just right. Plenty of space for Sophie's dog bed. Nice touch of a small complementary bottle of mead! Clean bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Sophie (black Labrador) was made very welcome by all the staff... More

Stayed for 3 nights as we explored Cornwall. The Garrack is a neat place with friendly and helpful staff. Great views of St. Ives and the the surfing. A relaxing stay. Definitely would go again. Beware that some rooms do not have showers, old bathtubs. Breakfast was more than enough and done nicely.

Thank you for your review of The Garrack. From your comments, I assume you were staying in room 4 which had a large Georgian bath, which I am told was popular with some guests, but no shower. We will shortly complete the remodelling of this room so that it will have a new bathroom with separate bath and shower. The... More

This is a lovely, romantic hotel with spectacular views, big comfy bed, clean rooms and the best breakfast you get anywhere. The restaurant was also excellent but the bar is not really a bar, more of a place to sit in a corridor. This hotel is at the top of quite a steep walk from the town. Staff were excellent.

First time visit, cannot rate them enough. Met by owner and greeted on arrival. Good food, and plenty. Pleasant staff waiting on, happy to oblige. Recommend for next year. Well done all the staff, made our Christmas a relaxing enjoyable one.

My husband, myself and our 8 month old stayed in this amazing hotel last weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our daughter was poorly on the first night so it meant we couldn't leave the room. Despite being full with Christmas parties the staff went above and beyond and bought us our food to our room. The room... More

I have just got back from 3 nights at The Garrack with husband and dog. We had a beautiful room which was massive with a very comfy super king bed and a gorgeous sea view-perfect! All the vitals of a hotel stay were there-good shower, big fluffy towels, peace and quiet and friendly staff. The breakfast was really good-buffet for... More

We popped in for one night whilst visiting a friend further West. We have a lovely room (Room 20) with a wonderful view of the beach. Very clean and tidy and will definitely use this hotel again in the summer. A good hearty breakfast (perhaps too hearty) and great value for money.

His Nibbs, the dog and I spent a much needed relaxing weekend here. The Garrick is ideally placed for coastal walks and good access down to Porthmeor Beach and St Ives. The staff are charming, easy going & helpful. The rooms aren't enormous but fitted a large greyhound and us easily. The beds are huge and comfortable. We were in... More

I am glad you all enjoyed your stay at The Garrack. We do ask guests to arrive for breakfast by 09.30 in the restaurant to allow the kitchen time to prepare for our Sunday roast lunch. However, breakfast is served at the pool terrace until noon which allows guests to lie in, or for parents to enjoy a relaxed breakfast... More
