The room was lovely & big, with a good sized bathroom, and kept nice & clean. staff was always helpful. then it came to breakfast which was ok, but evening meal was rubbish, no flavour to the meals at all, I think they need to change the chef.{could do better myself}. the so called bar was so small, not like... hotel from the outside looks very beautiful. It is next to two beaches, walking time is 10 minutes, the area is also beautiful. The downside of the hotel is the lack of bathrooms in the rooms 😐hotel is made in the old style, creaky floors, I think the hotel has potential but needs renovation. front desk staff very friendly and... Having stayed in many hostels when travelling, this hotel was not so much as a shock to me as my slightly more hotel-esque friends. I'll start with the positives. The hotel building is stunning from the outside and the grounds are beautiful. The wifi works, despite how huge the place is and the breakfast was plentiful, with lots of fresh... More

So I'll start the review off by saying that luckily it didn't spoil mine and my partners break away but that's only because it was so bad we had to laugh or we would of cried! Firstly I rang the hotel a few weeks before the stay to say I was celebrating with my partner and really wanted to make... More

I stayed here with my partner for two nights 24.06.16-25.06.16 , the hotel from the outside is beautiful , however inside it's very old fashioned , the rooms did resemble prison cells. The hotel was very clean though. The fan extracted for the toilet that comes on with the light , didn't turn of when the light and door was... More

We came here not knowing anything about the Hotel and we were not disappointed. Good job we were able to climb the many stairs to the attic bedrooms. We didn't mind it was good exercise. Our bedrooms were at the front of the Hotel but not much of a view as the eves of this lovely old house blocked our... More

Beautiful old building but the most lumpy and uncomfortable bed I've ever "slept" in. The website did not mention that sharing a bathroom meant with 8 or so other rooms. There was no washbasin in either the bathroom or the separate loo - only a hand sanitiser. The website also omitted to say it was a Christian Guild hotel -... More

Turned up this evening, was told that my room number was A1 in the annexe. I was given the wifi passcode- which did not work. The single room was incredibly small and claustrophobic. I then had a shave, then proceeded to have a shower ( which is over the bath) not a drop of water came out, I then pulled... More
