We have been visiting The Sail Lofts for many years. We have now stayed in most of these luxurious apartments. This time we stayed in ‘ Godrevy ‘ for the first time. All I can say is we were not disappointed. Like all the accommodation here it is absolutely first class. The accommodation is 5 star throughout - bathroom, living room and kitchen. You are left wanting for nothing. People may say they are a little pricey but don’t let this put you off - you get what you pay for. There is parking with all bookings & staff always available on site to help with any enquiry. In short can’t recommend enough. You will not be disappointed.

We returned as a treat for a birthday, to the “Surf” two-person flat within the Sail Lofts complex. It’s the smallest of the flats we’ve stayed at there, but it makes clever use of the space with a contemporary design. (Lighthouse is the other 2person flat which we’ve stayed in). On our arrival there was a lovely selection of local foody bits which we enjoyed. We found the courtyard washroom was a really useful facility to wash sand away before going indoors.

You can’t beat the fantastic location as it’s right next to both Porthmeor beach and the Island; great for some bracing walks and sea angling if you like fishing. It’s a very short walk to St Ives Bakery on Fore St (stunningly good cruffins, pasties and focaccia) and Source Kitchen where I had my *outstanding* birthday lunch and cocktails! There’s also a useful general store (Norway Stores), and lots of galleries and places that offer art / exercise classes nearby if that’s your thing.

It was simple to book the weekend, and we were given friendly, comprehensive info on how to get there, arrival key codes, parking information etc. They followed up during our stay just to check everything was going ok but we didn’t need to contact them. A great perk at the moment is you can get a complimentary visit to the Tate St Ives or Hepworth museums by prior arrangement via the Sail Lofts team. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing short stay! Thank you Sail Lofts.

My family and I have stayed at Sail lofts over 10 times. Very good location. Huge comfortable beds. Very clean. Easy parking (A huge plus for St ives).
I know St Ives very well and have stayed in many of the properties along & around Porthmeor Beach but I have used sail lofts the most ( says something).
It has a shared beach shower room ( with hot showers) so no treading sand into the accommodation ( storage for wet suits & surf boards).
Generous room sizes with original art works.
Many mod cons & good entertainment systems when you have had a busy day.
I would recommend them 100%.
Oh! Have I mentioned the huge beds…

Our family has stayed at sail lofts for more years than I can remember. Sadly this year was our last. The accommodation is still of a good quality but is in need of investment and is being matched if not beaten by other lower cost options in the same part of St Ives. The Sail Lofts used to have a very high level of service, with additional support, plus the apartments were kept to a very high standard. This is certainly not the case now. The costs of Sail Lofts continue to rise each year as the quality has fallen. There are many more options in this specific part of St Ives at a far lower cost.

We have had over 12 slightly more frugal holiday lets in St. Ives over the years and chose to splash out a bit more this time so our kids could bring friends. What a difference it made being in the Sail Lofts where so many details are well-thought through. Firstly, there is the wet room complete with a hot shower to wash wetsuits off after the beach, including space to store surf boards and other kit including your own peg for wet wetsuits!! The flat had so much space for eating and socialising, it also had ample space for everyone to gather and watch a TV show together in the evenings. The near-by Norway shop with freshly baked pastries just foot steps away, along with all of the best of St. Ives on your doorstep makes it a very special holiday.

We have been staying at Sail Lofts for years, staying in 4 bed apartments. The accommodation is perfect, located a few minutes walk to Porthmeor beach, plenty of space and really comfortable with topnotch Wifi and board games if the weather means you need to stay in. Fans and clever room arrangements mean the accommodation never gets too hot. Perhaps the best thing is a large wetroom in the complex with hot showers where you can store wetsuits and any equipment you bring. The staff go out of their way to help organise tickets to The Tate and helped with a child's and an adult's birthday plans in previous years. The customary treats provided (milk, scones, biscuits) included a bottle of Prosecco and birthday card this year because they remembered one of our birthday dates. We had a wonderful time in St Ives again. To top it all off, when by accident we left items behind, the staff sent it on to us really quickly - for which we were really grateful. We'll be back again.

We booked this stay very last minute knowing very little about the area or accommodation. The team at Sail Lofts were fabulous and extremely helpful, replying promptly to our enquiries and providing lots of information about the accommodation and surrounding area. The accommodation is amazing, finished to a very high standard, even though we were in one of their smaller properties, it felt extremely spacious due to the vaulted ceilings. The accommodation was also very clean and there was a lovely welcome pack on arrival with a little note, a personal touch which makes all the difference. The location is unbeatable, literally a few steps to Porthmeor beach and not many more to Porthgwidden beach, both which are beautiful. Just a short walk to the harbour and many shops and restaurants, we didn’t use the car once! Would recommend ordering a supermarket shop to be delivered in advance to save having to use the car. Finally the staff were always on hand in the office based in the courtyard near the apartments, they are extremely helpful and gave great local advice even arranging for a fresh fish delivery for us one day. Absolutely would visit again to Sail Lofts without any hesitation, the best UK property we have visited.

Over the last 25 years we have been visiting St Ives, and although we have stayed in many different places, we have always used Sail Lofts 2/3 times a year for the last 10+ years. Also recommending our friends, who have stayed and only recently taken a couple of apartments over Christmas (our friends trust us!).

We have stayed in 6 of the apartments over the years, and the quality of accommodation has always been excellent, which they have maintained. It is a brilliant location, with everything you need around you and less than a minute to the beach. All the rooms (bedrooms, bathroom, lounge) are relaxing, quiet, luxurious and everything you need for a great holiday or break.
We have never been back to the same accommodation more than a couple of times, so for us to keep coming back to the Sail Lofts, tells that this is a perfect place.
Go and enjoy it

We have just returned from a short break at The Sail Lofts staying in their beautiful Beach apartment and what a week we chose - the weather was absolutely sublime and more akin to summer than October.

The apartment itself was just lovely - located between Porthmeor and Porthgwideen beach, so we were able to sea swin every morning with just a short stroll back to our holiday home. The interior was beautifully furnished and the beds very comfy - they were even able to provide black out blinds to ensure our little one didn't wake too early.

The onsite team were really friendly and helpful too with nothing being too much trouble.

All in all we had a fantastic stay and hope to return again next year.

We were a group of 7 (6 adults and 1 child) and stayed in the apartment called Bay. We all loved it. We had enough space for everyone, and the kitchen and living room area was spacious and cosy at the same time. I can definitely recommend the Sail Lofts once again.
The location of all of the apartments is so great, everything is in short walking distance, from the close by beach where we went swimming to the town centre.
