We arrived here and was greeted with a very warm welcome from the management and staff who couldn't do enough for us. We checked in to a lovely big room with ensuite shower/toilet, both room and ensuite were very clean. The room had tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The TV didn't work - which we didn't discover...

We had a nice time. Positives, free parking and friendly staff. Great location. Price quite good at £75 for two per night. Negatives, Corridor and room decoration a bit tired but bedding and En suite pretty good. Room clean and nice bedding. English breakfast was extra, £6.50 each but very nice.(continental free). Would visit again.

Definitely in need of TLC-curtains broken, toilet sounded like thunder when flushed, carpet tatty, smoke alarms were covered presumably for painting. Waited one and a quarter hours for meal and then the Lasagne had no garlic bread but was replaced by chips! I love dogs but owners dogs running loose and sitting at the tables put me off. On the plus...

Went to this pub on Friday night. Sat in garden before getting a drink as we had dog with us. As I walked in to get a beer was confronted by numerous dogs. Staff great with good choice of ales. Ordered steak as main and mussles for starter. Food was great only gripe no english mustard. Yes no english mustard....

Booked this small b&b without reading any of the reviews and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room faced the road outside but we had no issue from the noise from passing farm trucks.(You have to expect this in this neck of the country). We are more used to hearing buses. We had a meal in the onsite resturaunt on our...

Stayed here and to say I was disappointed is a massive understatement. Stains on the carpet and curtains. Bedside lampshades also stained and full of dust. A mish mash of colours in the room. Nothing like pictures advertised. Toilet seat loose moving from side to side. Windows dirty with finger prints all over. When arrived for the first two nights...

I'm sorry for the way you felt about your stay. As I was taught it is far better to talk to people face to face so things can be addressed rather than the back handed remarks. Regarding your door with the gap. Sorry but that's impossible as we have regulated fire doors throughout the building which makes it totally fireproof....

I booked the flat about 2 months before I was due to stay and when booking I asked if I would be able to check out late (1pm) as I was getting married just down the road at 1:30pm. The lady I spoke to said it was a Wednesday and it wouldn't be a problem. On the day I called...

There seems to be some misunderstanding here. I said to you that you were welcome to use the room for as long as you needed, my chambermaid was already aware to do your room last that day so you and your bridesmaids could get ready.the time I said was 13.00. I'm not sure where or how the misunderstanding happened. As...

Stayed here as it's a good location and the reviews were good. The room was ok, the staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. The bar is basic but most people seem to like that. Dog friendly place but we felt it needs a bit of updating, and better lighting as I struggled to see the menu in the...

Visited this pub with friends during our visit to the big cornish swim. We liked it so much we went back for a second night. Food was just great, but the ting which really stood out was Falicity the landlady. Cracking sense of humour and even managed to sort out a taxi too.
