Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights in Geography at the Old School Hotel! My room was just right and even had a window seat, where I spent afternoons with a cup of tea and my book. Excellent location in the heart of Port Isaac meant I could explore the village, then pop back to my room to charge phone or just... More

We only stayed one night at the Old School and it was a lovely stay, but the room (called the French room) was very basic for the price. The location is great and central to everything and the view from the window is stunning, but the bed is small, the small cupboard door was broken and it would need to... More

This was a fantastic location for strolling around Port Isaac and accessing the Southwest Coast Path, which you can reach by walking just past Doc Martin's house. We stayed one night. I would have liked to stay longer. Plenty of parking once you figure out that there is some behind the hotel as well (fold in your side mirrors!) We... More

We stayed at the Old School Hotel for my sister's 50th birthday weekend. We booked out the whole hotel for all of our friends and family and held a buffet dinner and disco in the restaurant. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but Sam was just amazing - she went completely out of her way to make sure... More

We loved our stay at the Old School Hotel! Sure, compared to swanky London hotels it may seem a bit rough around the edges, but if you're someone who loves and appreciates the seaside and seaside accommodation (we often stay on the Cape and Islands), you know what to expect from a hotel touched by sea air and time. We... More

As a Doc Martin fan, I really wanted to stay in this hotel. I knew it was quaint and rustic and went in with those expectations. Check in and out was easy and quick. Rachel and Samantha were very nice and helpful when I had questions! I stayed in the single room, Religious Studies, which is at the front corner... More

Got in early and got a good park in this little hotel overlooking the bay in Port Isaac. With ground floor room, everything we need in close at hand. Dining room was great for lunch and short walk around town and all the other tourists. In late afternoon, tourists go home and the town becomes quaint and the old school... More

We could only stay one night as ALL hotels in Port Isaac were full! Charming, tiny fishing village huddled in a valley with stunning views of the sea. Very busy with all the English visiting to get a peak of Doctor Martin... The hotel itself was charmingly quaint, hugging the cliff side over looking the village and the port. You... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in the Chemistry room. Very comfortable room and lovely en suite. The view was amazing and the location was perfect. Really nice breakfast and the evening meals were very tasty also and reasonably priced. Nice friendly staff. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

We stopped here for lunch as we also did 3 years ago whilst holidaying in the area. We have a large dog so on both occasions elected to sit outside on the terrace. This has a fabulous view across the harbour to "Doc Martin's" house/surgery. You order in the bar and food is brought out to you. The food again... More
