Wonderful room with balcony overlooking stunning views as far as Lundy Island. Really friendly helpful hosts took us in their car to the start of our first days walk saving us Taxi fare. The First reviewer must be mad the breakfast we had filled us up for the day saving us lunch. Home cooked bread daily and local produce couldn`t...

This B&B is well situated to allow you to explore this beautiful village. Ed provided us with a map hand drawn by his wife that allowed us to wander the village. Our room was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Off street parking is available and wifi works well. Breakfast was great with home made bread. The only...

Stay only 1 night, no other nights were available but so glad we did, what a beautiful place. Very friendly hosts. Our room had a sea view, and the most amazing shower I have ever used, the water pressure was perfect. Homemade bread for breakfast, lots of choice. Would stay here again.

We stayed at Penrose B&B for 2 nights as we had arranged to meet with friends. As previous reviewers have said Ed and Sian were very welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble (if we needed anything please just ask!). Our room was large and comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The en-suite was fine, though ithere was no...

Ed and Sean graciously invited us into their B&B even though we had no reservation. We could not have asked for a better location in Port Isaac. Located above the port on the new road through the village we could easily walk down to the port in more that one direction. Parking was available in front of the house and...

We were welcomed straight away by Ed and Sean and little Griff, we were treated to fresh milk and shown to our room which was perfect, large and clean with a bathroom, we slept soundly in...

My sister and I spent two nights at Penrose B&B, Port Isaac in a twin room. The room was large, clean and comfortable and private with an ensuite. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. On arrival we were given a jug of 'fresh' milk (not those horrible little long life things you get in hotels). Breakfast was delicious and...

Ed and his wife Sian's home is beautiful and the perfect base to explore and enjoy Port Isaac and its stunning surroundings and to walk along the Coast Path. Ed is most helpful and the best Port Isaac tourist guide and restaurant critic you will ever find. Their dog Grif made my day when he decided I was worth one...

We walked in off the street just as it started to rain (!) and we were welcomed by Grif, the dog, as though we were long lost friends! My daughter and I had a wonderful 3-day stay and Ed was extremely helpful as we didn't have a car. He was an excellent guide and seemed to know everyone and everything....

My wife and I have been travelling bit by bit around the southern coast of England. Penrose B+ B in our opinion is the best B+B we have stayed in to date. Penrose is owned and run by Big Ed who is also a very talented musician and his equally talented wife Sian, who is a local artist. Some of...
